I bought a 15lb vest to spice up my walks and home workouts, and I was sceptical from the start — seemed a bit pricey. First week it felt fine, snug and useful, so my worries eased, honestly. Then holes showed up in the pockets and a stitch came undone after a fortnight. They replaced it without fuss, so delivery/exchange was decent, but their one-exchange warranty and refusal to accept my small top-up offer left me a bit miffed. Mixed feelings.
Changed my mind too late
I clicked buy, then five minutes later realised I wanted the heavier vest — classic. Sent a message straight away (I mean, literally before the shop was open) offering to cover the extra cost. By the time anyone replied it had already been dispatched and they wouldn’t adjust the order, so my only workaround was to buy the 5lb booster separately and pay international shipping and duties on top. Felt a bit rigid, to be honest, especially since I wasn’t asking for a favour, just the upgrade price. That said, when the heavier kit turned up and I tried it on — that’s when I was actually pleased. It’s solid, fits well and does what it promises, so I’m glad ultimately. If you’re in the same boat, decide quickly or be prepared to pay extra; also, a smidge more flexibility from support would’ve made a big difference.
First walk and then the let-down
glad it fitted and felt good initially, but annoyed it didn’t last and that support wasn’t helpful. Don’t assume a higher price guarantees longevity.
