I ordered a few bits expecting the usual online-shop faff, so free delivery and returns were a nice surprise. Checkout was dead easy and nothing felt clunky. Four days later, though, the order is still apparently sitting in limbo, which is a little irritating. Luckily I’m not waiting by the letterbox in my slippers, but I’d prefer it to get moving soon. Other places have been quicker, to be fair.
Two weeks became much longer
What started as a supposedly two-week wait has dragged on since 30 March. By 28 May, nothing had arrived, and the update was another six weeks. I’ve had slow deliveries elsewhere, so delays happen, but the lack of a clear explanation is the issue. Customer service sent an email, yes, though it didn’t really answer much. At this point I’m not convinced I’d order again.
A long wait for nothing
Honestly, I’d give this a miss, especially if you need supplies for work rather than just something you can live without for a week. I ordered 1,000 Medipoint blood lancets for my practice on 5 August, thinking the original 2–5 September delivery window was manageable. Annoying if late, sure, but not the end of civilisation. Then September arrived and the date moved to 11–15 September. Fine, I thought, these things happen. When I checked again, it had somehow wandered off to 28 September–1 October. At that point it felt like the parcel was on a gap year.
