I nearly didn't buy it. New brand, greasy-cream memories. My face was acting up; I needed something gentle. A skin pro nudged me to try the Balance range. Months later my doubts had faded. The cream is light, soothes dry bits and the apple scent gets thumbs up from my fussy other half.
Rethink after a shaky start
Moved flat last month and my skin went dry and flared up, plus I’d been burned before by heavily scented oils, so I was wary. Ordered their Radiance Oil more out of hope than faith. Delivery turned up early, nicely boxed, and customer service answered a daft question fast — made me relax. The oil itself is gentle, a bit rich but light on scent; skin settled after a few days. Still cautious, but happy I tried it and I’ll probably buy again.
Mid-week trial
Halfway through the first evening I realised the moisturiser sits nicely — not greasy, just a touch slow to sink in. Parcel turned up fast with a handwritten note and travel samples, which I tried straight away. The cleanser cleans without stripping; the neck elixir can feel a bit heavy. Not flawless, but it does the job.
Quick update on Nourish
Right, short version — I ordered the Nourish eye cream through JD Williams and a few days after I left a review I got a message from Nourish themselves. I’d had a minor reaction to the cream, nothing dramatic, but they got in touch promptly and handled it properly. They offered to replace it with a different moisturiser and even chucked in some samples, which I appreciated. Delivery via JD Williams was fine, on time, but I hadn’t realised I could buy direct from Nourish — I’ll do that next time, seems simpler. I’ve had worse follow-up from other brands (they sometimes ignore you), so I was quietly pleased at how this was managed. Felt like they valued me as a customer, which counts. So overall relieved and grateful it was sorted without faff.
Worth the trial, mind the lids
nice textures, subtle scent and they absorb properly into my dry, slightly mature skin (not always guaranteed). They feel a step up from many department-store brands. One niggle though — packaging could do with more care: one pot arrived with a loose lid and a small leak, so check parcels when they turn up. I started with the five-piece trial and that was sensible — you get a good feel without wasting cash. Not perfect, but solid, cruelty-free and good value.
