swipe it and the puffiness is nearly gone in seconds — I didn’t expect that. The mask and body cream smell nice, feel comforting, and the follow-up advice they gave me was useful (I was surprised). All in all, glad I trusted them.
Tightened then flaked
he pushed a massively discounted LED package, promised to refund the cream cost if we took the treatment, and made it awkward to walk away. We felt cornered and embarrassed, and in the end had to buy remover pads to get the mess off. My advice: if you try one of these demos, don’t let anyone rush you into larger packages, insist on time to think and test the product properly at home. I was pleasantly surprised by the instant effect but disappointed by the finish and the pressure to buy more — staff training on boundaries would help.
Warranty let-down
the lifetime warranty turned out to be more of a slogan than anything I could actually use. I was relying on this pad — used it every morning after a run and in the evenings while I’m doing emails — so when it started playing up after not even a year, I expected a simple swap. They told me to send it back and promised a replacement in a couple of weeks; for months they kept saying stock was on its way. Then, out of the blue, the replies stopped. I chased a few times and got nothing. They did offer an alternative gadget once, but it was a handheld model and not the same thing at all (I already have their handhelds, thanks). Another of their devices has since failed too, and I’m not going to pay postage on the off-chance they honour anything — been there, done that. I even asked if they could repair my pad and was told they don’t do repairs. Bit rich calling it “lifetime” when it feels like that lifetime excludes customers. I’m slightly annoyed but mostly just bemused — useful product when it worked, awkward and flaky once it didn’t.
Pleasantly surprised by the results
these products actually made a real difference for us. I needed something for early signs of ageing and my husband was looking for anything that might help his rosacea — we’d tried a few things before with mixed results. We first saw Opatra at the Ideal Home Exhibition earlier this year and went back this weekend to buy properly. The devices and creams have become part of our routine; my skin looks firmer, his redness is calmer, and honestly we both noticed it after a few weeks. What pushed us to buy was not just the kit but the demo — Anais, the salesperson, was genuinely knowledgeable and didn’t oversell. She applied masks and creams in front of us in a way that felt professional yet not awkward, which for me is a big deal. I was pleasantly surprised by how relaxed the whole thing felt and how confident she was about which product suited which skin issue. Prices aren’t cheap but seem fair for the results, and delivery was straightforward. I’d recommend giving them a try if you want proper kit and someone who knows what they’re doing to explain it.
