Definitely worth it, despite a shaky start. I first saw this on a mate's feed and she tipped me off, so I gave it a go. At first I was sceptical — tracking sat on 'delivered to local carrier' for five days and I worried it was lost. But it finally turned up and it's exactly as described. Good value, decent service overall. Not perfect, but happy.
The moment I knew
Wasn't sure at first, but when I finally held the XVX M84 it just felt right. Keycaps were fine too. Service was polite and straightforward. I've had slower, messier shops before, so this hit the spot, relieved.
Mint bits, dodgy tracker
the online tracker didn't show it was out for delivery, so I kept checking. Phoned customer service and they were calm and helpful, sorted it out. Properly chuffed it went so smoothly apart from that.
Bit of a let-down, really
they wanted me to cover expensive return postage, kept the original shipping and trimmed the refund. On the plus side, odd little thing — one spare cap actually fit a broken key I had, so that was unexpectedly handy.
Quiet caps, no backlight
Started swapping caps one evening. They feel firm, a bit textured, proper PBT. Colours are decent and match my desk better than I thought. The legends don’t let light through — the inner layer is solid so no backlight. Fine if you don’t use RGB. Fit is mostly good on my 75% board, a couple of keys sit odd but usable. Shipping was quick and it turned up early, which was a surprise. Might try a different profile later.
