I’m happy with the final dress, but they weren’t totally honest about where it came from. They say orders take 12–15 days because everything’s made to order here, yet my tracking showed it left from overseas, went through international transit and customs before hitting local delivery. A bit annoying, especially if you expect local turnaround. That said, the item itself was exactly what I wanted — decent finish, fit okay after a quick tweak — and it did arrive via priority post in the end. I’ve had worse surprises with other sellers who ghost you, so this wasn’t terrible. Just be ready for potential extra transit time and the tracking to show foreign locations. Not perfect, but worked out; I’d use them again if you don’t need it urgently.
Late but not worthless
there was white padding showing through the sheer parts and it looked totally wrong — like someone forgot to remove internal support, and that really ruined the look I wanted. I rang customer service because the event had passed and I wanted it sorted; their policy about partial refunds before shipping but full refunds after return is confusing, I’ll say that. In the end I boxed both up, sent them back and tracking confirmed delivery at the returns centre at the end of April. I stayed sceptical for a while, chasing them, but they processed a full refund a few weeks later. Not a smooth ride, but the decent quality of one dress and the eventual refund mean I’m not completely written off — I’d think twice before ordering again, though.
Two dresses, one annoying lesson
instead of stewing, I took them to a local tailor. For a fraction of what the extra returns would’ve cost me in time and stress, they altered them and now they actually fit and I wear one to client dinners. It’s not the company’s fault I was away for a few days, but better communication from them would’ve helped. In the end I’m more satisfied with the fix than I expected. Lesson learned — check return windows properly and don’t rely on a vague promise that “someone will look into it”.
Halfway-through-tea dress drama
slow replies, acting like we’d never been in touch, and initially offering a 10% refund for a return. I challenged it, they bumped to 20% with no real explanation — not the company policy they advertised. To top it, the dress we kept split along a seam within an hour of wear while she was twirling about as only a four‑year‑old can. Contrast with another firm, Windsor, who took returns and refunded straight away. So: fast delivery and a cute sticker as a surprise, but the returns process and follow-up left me fed up. Won’t be ordering from Zapaka again.
Prom dress
Absolutely awful! Do not buy as the company is FRAUD! A prom dress was ordered and never delivered. The company claims that it was and it is atrocious in the way they are dealing with the situation. They have offered 40% refund for something I had never received and fully paid for. Do not buy! Strongly recommend to AVOID!
Wrong colour, but not the end of the story
this isn’t right. Delivery itself was actually okay — it arrived a day earlier than I expected — so for a moment I was hopeful. That hope faded when the reality of the garments set in.
I contacted customer service the next morning. At first the replies were canned and slow, offering a token compensation that didn’t come close to the cost. I pushed back, asked for photos to be reviewed (I couldn’t attach them on the review here, annoyingly), and asked about returns. That’s where things got awkward — initially they wanted me to arrange return postage overseas at my expense, plus a handling fee. I wasn’t prepared for that.
I kept on politely but firmly and asked to escalate. After a couple of back-and-forths, a supervisor actually reviewed the case and agreed to a full refund and a prepaid returns label. It took longer than it should have and I had to nag, but in the end the company took responsibility and sorted it without me footing the return cost. So yeah, sceptical at the start — rightly so — but the final outcome was acceptable. Not perfect: product images were misleading and the quality wasn’t great, but the delivery timing and the eventual customer service resolution tipped my view from annoyed to reasonably satisfied.Dresses

Dress purchase
I bought a dress from this shop not too long ago and I must say, the whole thing was a bit of a letdown. The delivery took ages, then when the dress turned up, it was rubbish quality and definitely not worth what I paid. And as if that wasn't bad enough, when I tried to send it back because it was so poor, the customer service team said nope, the return deadline had passed. And on top of everything else, they were dead rude in how they spoke to me. Honestly, the whole thing was just not on.
Poor delivery and return policy
I had an absolutely terrible experience with this company. It took more than a month for my daughter's prom dresses to arrive, and when we tried to return the ones she didn't pick, we were hit with a ridiculous policy we didn't know about. The customer service was useless and didn't even apologise, and the whole thing was a complete nightmare.

I actually bought a prom dress, but it was a bit tight so we had to return it. It took a while for them to respond, but they did and we ended up getting a refund. The dresses on that website are really nice and they have a lot for all kinds of events. I'm excited to shop there again!
Late refund, unhelpful customer service
I'm really disappointed with my experience with this company. In January, they said they'd give me a 20% refund for a dress that was too small, but even after lots of emails and promises, I never got it. It's so annoying to be told one thing and then nothing happens, especially when it's about money. Also, I had trouble sending back another dress that didn't fit, as they don't give refunds or discounts for items that don't work for you. And to make it worse, one of the dresses I bought supposedly got lost, making the whole experience even more frustrating.
Prom dress purchase
So, I’ve just ordered my prom dress and it took 9 days to arrive, which isn’t too bad, you know? But, I’m a bit unsure about using DHL, it’s a bit dodgy. Hopefully, it comes real quick, and I won’t have to hassle with sending it back. 🙁
Cancellation issue
I had a right headache with this company recently when it came to cancelling an order. I did everything by the book and sent them an email to cancel before they even sent it out, like their policy said. Their policy said I should get half my money back. But would you believe it? They didn't stick to their own rules and instead left me hanging, only to later say they couldn't cancel because it was already on its way. It was so annoying and really let me down as a customer.
Pretty but long and big dresses
The dresses are lovely, but they're way too long and bulky for me. I attempted to send them back, but their customer service is shockingly terrible! I've been attempting to contact them for ages, but they're completely unresponsive. How on Earth am I supposed to return these items if they won't even provide me with a return address? They claim I only have seven days to return the items, but how am I supposed to do that if they're not communicating with me? I'm really hoping they get back to me soon!

Dress purchase
I bought a dress from an online shop not long ago, but it didn't fit me well, unfortunately. I got in touch with customer service well before the 7-day refund period to ask for a refund, but I haven't heard anything back after almost 3 weeks, which is quite disappointing. I've tried to contact them through email and phone several times, but I haven't gotten any response. The customer service team's lack of communication and support is really disappointing and unprofessional. I wouldn't suggest buying from this shop because of their bad customer service.
Dresses for my mum
I ordered some dresses for my mum from this company and it was a real nightmare! They took forever to reply to my emails and when they finally did, they wouldn't allow my mum to return the dresses even though she had been trying for ages. After we mentioned getting a lawyer involved, they've stopped responding altogether. It's so frustrating!
2 Prom dresses - Sizing issue and quality difference
So, I bought these two prom dresses, and one was way too big while the other wasn't as nice. I tried to return it, but haven't heard back yet. I paid with PayPal, so hopefully, I can get a refund for the one that wasn't good.
Evening Ball dress purchase
I was so pleased with the dress I bought for the Evening Ball. It was amazing quality for the price. The design had so much attention to detail and the craftsmanship was top-notch. The fabric felt luxurious and it fit me perfectly, making me feel really elegant and classy at the event. I got loads of compliments during the evening, which just made me even more sure that the dress was a great choice.
Stressful order process
After reading all those bad reviews, I was actually really nervous about going ahead and making a purchase. Also, the confirmation email messing up just made my anxiety even worse, and it took ages to finally get any tracking details. So, even though my order did eventually turn up and fit okay, the whole thing was just way too stressful for me. I don't think I'll be ordering from there again.
