they said they couldn’t refund because I was outside a 14-day returns window. I argued that selling a known-defective batch and refusing any form of redress felt a bit off, but after several back-and-forths I cancelled a second order I’d tried to place in frustration. Delivery and customer service are what I care about most, and at this stage I was leaning towards a warning post on the forum. The surprising twist? A while later they remanufactured both prescription pairs and sent them out to me. Fast forward and the replacements arrived neatly packaged, courier friendly, no visible fractures, and honestly that made me blink — I wasn’t expecting all of it to be sorted. So the service was a bit of a rollercoaster: prompt acknowledgement, poor initial resolution, then an unexpected fix. Delivery on the replacements was decent, packaging fine, and I appreciated the quick turnaround once they decided to act. Would I tip a friend to try them? I’d be cautious and mention the return policy, but also say they do, in the end, seem willing to remake faulty items. It’s been a mixed bag, really — frustrating at first, a useful surprise later.
Never straightforward, sadly
first their system had a glitch, then that Uniuni would handle shipping, then that Uniuni wouldn’t ship until the strike ended. At that point they offered a courier upgrade — DHL or FedEx — for an extra fee. Fine, I said FedEx, paid the surcharge, then noticed they'd added shipping on top of the shipping charge itself, which they agreed to refund. That was the start of many small, irritating reversals.
They finally said it would go out later that day, which sounded good — FedEx should be quick, right. A handful of days later and both items were still on hold in the online status. I ended up spending a few hours across calls and chats. Responses were vague: "our system", "we'll let you know", no real timeframe for the refund. I ended up cancelling and buying elsewhere.
The bits I liked: the staff weren’t rude, and someone did eventually promise a refund. But the communication was inconsistent and the delivery handling was a mess, so I wouldn't recommend relying on them if you need something promptly.
