solid frame, tidy finish, no wobble, and everything feels durable — no complaints about the machine really. It’s exactly what I needed for my physio exercises and it’s made a proper difference to my back already. The service side is where it’s murky. The wording around the so‑called white glove service is confusing; I thought the £65 (or whatever the add‑on was listed as) covered installation, but apparently there’s a more expensive option if you want full white‑glove. I don’t love that lack of clarity. Also the communication process felt bureaucratic — a form, then wait 24–48 hours, and initially no direct phone contact. In the end they did sort some things out, and the product itself is good enough that my initial doubts have mostly evaporated. It’s not perfect, but given the quality of the reformer and the way they responded after I raised the issue, I’d still recommend it — just be careful about delivery options and ask explicitly about installation.
Napolie Plus — worth it, but with caveats
I’m happy with the machine itself, but the whole purchase was a bit of a faff and could’ve been smoother. That’s the gist — sturdy, quiet, good build — yet a number of small hassles made the experience more annoying than it needed to be. Read on if you want the why, because there’s a fair bit to unpack.
Quietly impressed by a clever bit of kit
the carriage glide felt smooth in a way that made me stop and pay attention, the kind of smooth that makes you trust your balance and just get on with the work. It’s sturdy too — the hardwood frame looks nicer than anything else I’ve had in my flat and doesn’t creak under proper effort. To be fair, there are tiny niggles. Assembly took longer than the listing suggested and a couple of the knobs are a bit stiff at first. It’s heavier than I expected, so moving it around solo is a pain, but the folding mechanism itself is easy and sensible for small spaces, which matters to me. Customer service was actually a highlight — quick replies, polite and helpful, and they sorted a small spare part without making it awkward. Price felt reasonable for the build quality; I’d saved up and was willing to pay more for something that lasts, and this looks like it will. What I appreciate most is how it’s brought Pilates back into my week — I’ve stopped making excuses and started scheduling sessions. I’m grateful it lived up to the demo at Maya’s and to the slightly overenthusiastic recommendation she gave me. Would I change anything? Minor tweaks, maybe lighter handles or clearer instructions for setup, but overall it’s the right balance of studio feel and home practicality. Mildly critical, yes, but genuinely pleased — that moment after the third session made me realise it wasn’t just hype.
