Halfway through making a cup of tea I remembered I’d ordered a little get-well treat for my uncle after his operation. It turned up on time, looked posher than I expected and the chocolate bits tasted brill — funny how 'too good to eat' became 'gone in an hour'. The box was a tad creased, nothing major. Had worse bother with other firms, so I’d order again.
Mixed feelings, pleasantly surprised
Halfway through tea that afternoon I opened the box for my mum's 70th — needed something decent after a rubbish present earlier that week — and the chocolates looked gorgeous, well-packed and actually smelled proper chocolate. What surprised me was the neat little wrapper and speedy delivery, I didn't expect that. But the printed message on the card was tiny, tiny and almost unreadable, which really pulled at the whole point of sending it. It felt like a missed detail, because everything else was spot on. I'd still order again but please, make the font bigger.
