Lakes Elderflower Gin Liqueur
House of Malt is absolutely my favourite place to get some top-notch drinks! I got into whisky last year and these guys have been my go-to for all things boozy. The customer service is fantastic - Piers really helped me out when there was a little issue with my recent order. The website is easy to use, prices are good, and delivery was super fast. I ordered Lakes Elderflower Gin Liqueur for my goddaughter's birthday, but it unfortunately broke before leaving the store. Piers got in touch right away and offered me a refund or a free upgrade to St Germain Elderflower Liqueur. I chose the upgrade so my goddaughter could try something new, and the bottle looks amazing with its Art Deco style. Supporting small, family-run British businesses like House of Malt is important to me, and I'm happy to recommend them to everyone! If I'm ever in Carlisle, I know where to go. Cheers!

I have to say, the customer service at this place is absolutely fantastic. I had a small issue with a parcel not being delivered, but they dealt with it like professionals. In no time at all, a new parcel was on its way to me without any fuss or extra charge. They really went the extra mile! They say you only truly appreciate good customer service when something goes wrong, and these guys definitely got it right. I am super impressed and completely satisfied with how they handled everything. It's not often you find such dedication and care these days, so I will definitely be recommending this place to all my friends and family. Just excellent.

I popped into this shop after it was recommended to me at an event and oh, I was blown away! The shop had such a great vibe and the staff were so knowledgeable about whiskey. I'm a big fan of Irish whiskey, so I was a little disappointed that there wasn't much selection, but there were plenty of other choices. In the end, I decided to go for my first ever Japanese whiskey and a fantastic 10 year old bourbon. I'm really looking forward to trying them out once the week is over! I will without a doubt be returning - it was top notch!
Neighbour's gift bottle
I popped onto House of Malt's website and ordered a fancy gift bottle for my neighbour just before heading back home to Suffolk from Edinburgh on the train. To my surprise, the parcel arrived at my doorstep only a few hours after I did. My neighbour was thrilled and thought I had personally carried it all the way from Edinburgh for them! The packaging was excellent, ensuring that the bottle arrived without any damage. I must say, House of Malt did an amazing job. Massive thanks to them for such a great service!

They also stock a nice selection of wines. Once I placed an order for a wine that was unavailable, but they got in touch straight away and offered me a fancier wine as a free substitute. The delivery is always speedy, and my bottles arrive really well-packaged. Their customer service is absolutely top-notch!

This company really gives you great value for quality spirits. I bought a bottle of Benedictine 70cl not long ago and I thought the price was really good compared to other shops. And the way they packaged it was brilliant - they had those bag things inside the box to protect the bottle and make sure it arrived safely. The delivery service was top-notch too, it got to me quickly and in perfect condition. I'll definitely be coming back for more of my favourite drinks in the future.

I bought a bottle of MacAlan Whiskey from House of Malt for a mate's 50th birthday and I have to say, I was really happy with the whole thing. I've had a terrible time dealing with this place. I ordered a pricey bottle of whisky, got a confirmation three days back, but haven't heard anything about the shipping. They said it would take 2-3 business days, but it feels like my order is just lost. What's worse, no one is picking up the phone and their voicemail is full. Are they even bothering to listen to their messages?! It's so annoying to be kept in the dark like this.
