Sunday morning, laundry pile like Everest — my old washer died and I feared pushy salespeople and a long wait. I rang up and, to my surprise, they were calm and helpful, no pressure. Sue sorted the order and the new machine was installed and the old taken away within 18 hours. Lee and Craig worked smoothly together, both friendly and knowing their stuff. That's a relief — I didn't expect it, I'll buy from them again.
Bit of a faff, but ended alright
I first spotted the cooker on their site after a mate sent me the link—looked like a good deal, so I rang to double-check (the listing even mentioned a hood, odd). The agent I spoke to confirmed the price, so I went ahead. Two days later an email pops up saying oops, pricing error, actual cost much higher. I called back, they only knocked off £30 and that wasn’t good enough, so I cancelled by email. Bit annoying and I was sceptical about their practices, but to be fair they processed the cancellation and the refund without too much hassle (took a couple of days). Won’t trust low prices blindly again, but customer service wasn’t terrible in the end.
