I recently bought a wood burning stove from Direct Stoves and I must say the customer service I received was top-notch. The owner, a chap called Adam I believe, personally got in touch with me to sort out any issues I had with my order. He gave me all the info I needed on how he was sorting things out and was really sorry for any inconvenience caused. It's clear he takes pride in his business and cares about keeping customers happy. I found his updates really reassuring and appreciated the quick response to any problems. Big thanks to Adam for helping me find an installer and for throwing in a free log basket with my order too.

When I bought a wood-burning stove from Direct Stoves, I was really impressed with the customer service I got from Julie and Lucy. Wooly Mammoth stove purchase
I bought a stove from Direct Stoves not too long ago and I have to say, I'm really disappointed with it. At first, the price seemed great at £700, but the quality of the stove has turned out to be quite poor. In just 18 months of occasional use, I've had to change the rope on the door three times already. On top of that, the glass and stove easily get marked, and now two of the bricks inside are broken. The customer service from Direct Stoves has been really unhelpful, giving me responses that made me feel like they didn't care about my concerns at all. I definitely regret choosing this product from them and next time, I'll be looking to buy from a local store for better support after the sale.

Recent Stove Purchase
My recent experience with Direct Stoves was pretty disappointing. I didn't hear anything from them about when my stoves would be delivered, so I was caught off guard when they showed up on a day I wasn't expecting them. Thankfully, I was still at home when they arrived, but it was really frustrating not knowing when they were coming. To make matters worse, some parts were missing from my order, which added to my annoyance. Even though I was honest about the problems, Direct Stoves didn't offer any compensation or fix the issues. The customer service overall was just terrible, and I'd suggest others think twice before doing business with them.

I recently had a terrible experience buying a Clearview stove. I ordered it at the end of October and was told it would take 4-5 weeks for delivery. As the 6-week mark came around, I asked for an update, only to be told that the company doesn't actually hold stock. The few updates I did get were not helpful at all. I felt deceived and like they were not being honest about their business.

I bought a stove from this company not long ago and when it arrived, it was damaged with rust on the top plate. I sent them some photos of the damage and explained that I hadn't kept the stove outside like customer service said, but they didn't acknowledge or fix the problem.

I've had a bit of a rough time with this company recently. The delivery dates they had on their website were wrong, which meant I had to cancel my order so I could get a wood burner in time for my fitting dates. It was a bit of a pain having to deal with loads of emails and phone calls just to sort out getting a refund. It's been weeks now, and I still haven't seen the money back in my account. I'd suggest maybe looking for a local supplier who will appreciate your business more than this company did.

Stove delivery
I recently bought a stove from your company, and I have to say, the delivery communication was awful. I waited in all day last Wednesday for the delivery, only to find out after a lot of effort on my part that it had been put off by a day because of the queen's funeral. No email or phone call was made to let me know about this change, which was quite annoying. From Friday to Wednesday, I had to ring multiple times to find out where the free fitting kit and liner were. Finally, on Thursday, the liner arrived, followed by the fitting kit on Friday. This lack of communication and inconsistency in delivery times made it really tough for a busy person like myself to deal with. However, despite the delivery being a pain, the stove itself looks great and I can't wait to get it up and running. I just wish there had been better communication throughout the whole process.
Pellet Stove Purchase
I bought a pellet stove from this company recently, and I have to say, I was really let down by the whole thing. As a woman living on my own, I was pretty shocked when the delivery guys wouldn't bring the 100kg stove inside my house, even though I had a ramp all set up. So now, my pricey new stove is just sitting there outside, totally open to being pinched. The service I got was honestly awful and I wouldn't advise anyone to use this company.
Fire and flue purchase
I ordered a fire and a flue, but when the fire arrived there was no flue included. Not only that, but the fire was damaged too, so I reported it immediately along with the missing flue. It took a lot of phone calls and emails, but eventually, we received a replacement fire. However, the replacement also didn't come with the flue! I've been waiting for the flue for weeks now and it still hasn't arrived. It's been a complete nightmare!
