    Late-afternoon scramble

    customer service finally picked up, apologised, rearranged properly and the replacement arrived intact next day. Bit of a palaver, but overall they sorted it and the tiler got on with it.

The delivery turned up when promised, the drivers were careful and polite and even dealt with the awkward staircase without a fuss. Small things, but they add up — felt proper, human service. Quite pleased, actually.

    Fresh-start shower

    I remember walking into the showroom and almost forgot why I was there — the display caught my eye, a friend had actually told me to try Leekes. Fast forward, Craig and Richie came to fit the shower and the rest of the bathroom while I was recovering from surgery, so timing and patience mattered. They navigated old dodgy plumbing left by earlier work, muttered a bit, solved it, and it all feels solid now. Del from bathrooms sorted the design with practical ideas, and Michael in delivery kept me updated. It's a proper quality job, not flashy, just good to use every morning. I'm pleased, really.

That put me right off. Anyway, after a bit of faff and an official complaint they did sort a refund and apologise, so not all lost. In the end I bought a different bed elsewhere and it’s actually lovely — the mattress is comfy, no weird springs, mornings feel nicer. Still, the whole ordering and delivery experience left a sour taste before it turned into something usable.

    Friendly, hassle-free service

    I first spotted the doors on their website on a dull evening and the photos drew me in. I booked a visit and Gareth turned up exactly when he said he would. Nice bloke. Not pushy at all. He measured up two doors, showed me mock-ups of how they'd look on the house and, truthfully, that bit surprised me — I wasn't expecting such a clear picture. He gave me a fair quote within minutes. A neighbour had mentioned the company too, so I told my sister about them and she liked what she saw. Ordering was straightforward; the site did most of the heavy lifting and Gareth handled the personal stuff. Delivery arrived on time. The fitters were tidy, worked quickly and left the place clean, which was a pleasant surprise. There were one or two tiny issues with a seal afterwards, but customer service sorted it promptly and kept me informed the whole time. Buying felt like dealing with someone you trust, not some faceless company. Would recommend — and I'd use them again, no question, for sure.

    Halfway through the checkout

    I was in the middle of paying when things went sideways. Felt like I’d been waiting ages for a simple bit of kit, and it kept getting passed between staff like a hot potato. A friend had first told me about the shop — said it was handy and decent for little presents — so I went in thinking it’d be straightforward. Turns out the person on till couldn’t find the product code, the next person searching the storeroom came back empty-handed, and the supervisor admitted it had happened before and the only colleague who knew the trick was on a break. That’s when I started getting frustrated, because this wasn’t a big-ticket splurge, it was just a cheap olive server and a few other bits for birthdays. The slow line and the repeated “I don’t know”s made my time theirs, and it felt like they were surprised I expected a prompt service. Delivery communication was also unclear — I’d asked for home delivery on another item and the estimated date kept sliding by email. On the bright side, once everything was finally sorted someone took a moment to wrap a fragile piece carefully, and that small extra effort saved a trip back. So not all bad, and that wrapping was genuinely thoughtful. But overall the process needs better training and clearer delivery updates; a short apology or a small gesture would have made the whole thing feel less like my problem and more like theirs to fix.

    Properly comfy, once sorted — and a bit of a saga

    I’m genuinely pleased with the sofa set now, even though getting there was a faff. It’s become our little corner of the house — my husband sits there with a mug, I curl up with a book, and we both use the table for everything from meals to his tablet. Why pleased? Because the set itself is really comfortable and the adjustable table (eventually) does make a practical difference for us — especially with his mobility needs — so that won me over in the end.

    Leather sofa and riser/recliner armchair

    Carl and Ricky brought over the sofa and armchair to my Sister's flat, and everything was all sorted and ready to use. They got there early and made it look easy to carry everything through the tight corners and up the stairs. I was really impressed with their friendly manner and how professional they were. They even said they'd get rid of the old armchair for me, which saved me a lot of hassle. All in all, top service from those lads!

    Sofa delivery

    I just had a sofa delivered to my place, and let me tell you, I was really impressed with the delivery service. The delivery showed up right on time, and the two delivery guys, Carl and Matt, were so careful with my stuff and really respected my home. They were friendly, polite, and super helpful the whole time. I'd say they were definitely the A-Team.

    Fridge/freezer purchase

    Today, I had the pleasure of Lee Hulbert helping me, and I have to say, she was absolutely fantastic. She was not only professional and friendly, but she also made the extra effort to find us the perfect fridge/freezer. Her knowledge and commitment really stood out, and I am extremely pleased with the service she gave. In my opinion, she is a star!

    Carl and Matt brought my furniture this morning and they were fantastic! They did a brilliant job. I wish all delivery drivers and their colleagues were as good as them.     Bedroom furniture purchase

    I popped into the shop the other day to have a gander at some bedroom furniture and got some help from a really nice lady called Yvonne. She was so friendly and knew loads about all the different stuff they had on offer. Yvonne spent ages showing me all the different furniture bits and bobs and even sorted out a measuring appointment for me. I really liked how she gave me some good advice and was keen to help me find just the right pieces for my bedroom.

    Outdoor furniture set

    I'm extremely disappointed by the customer service I've received. I sent a complaint email on 7th May and haven't heard anything back. I even followed up with another email on 24th May, and still, no response. Your complaint process promises acknowledgement within 5 working days, but I'm still waiting. This is simply not good enough!

    Kitchen renovation supplies

    I recently had a lovely experience speaking to a man in the kitchen section of the shop. I had lots of particular requests for my kitchen renovation, and I have to say that the man, let's call him Jon, went above and beyond. His careful attention to detail and willingness to help out were really impressive. He knew so much and walked me through everything, making sure I was happy with what I bought. I think staff like Jon are really important for keeping customers happy and making the department successful.

    Sofa purchase

    Our visit to this store was really great because of a lovely staff member who was so helpful. Lyn Hocking really listened to us and gave us good advice when we were looking for a sofa. She didn't rush us at all and let us take our time to choose. Thanks to her, we found the perfect sofa and we are very happy with it. We had a really good experience overall and we would definitely come back in the future.

    Two sofas

    I bought two sofas from this shop not long ago and I have to say, it was a great experience. The salesperson, Alex, who works in the furniture department, was brilliant. He was so friendly, really helpful, and a real gem for the store. Alex gave us some great advice and guidance, helping us to pick out the best materials for our sofas. There was never any pressure to buy, just helpful advice and nice chat. I'll definitely go back to Alex for any future purchases. Big thanks to Alex for his excellent service.

    New bed and mattress

    Purchasing a new bed and mattress turned out to be a lot more challenging than we thought it would be. It's such a big buy, and the last thing we wanted was to mess it up. After weeks of feeling overwhelmed by all the choices out there, we finally decided to go to a particular store and met this guy called Nathan in the bed section. What a relief! Nathan spent practically the whole afternoon with us, really putting our needs first and sharing his vast knowledge and expertise. He gave us a few different options to think about and made us feel really good about our decision-making. We couldn't make the purchase on the spot, but we went back today to sort everything out, and now we can't wait for our new mattress to be delivered.
