a confirmation pinged through and the policy appeared. Not perfect — response times were rubbish — but the cover worked and I got refunded. If you hate being on hold, other firms with phone lines are easier.
Not helpful for young drivers
I wouldn't recommend them for a young driver. They declined cover for my 17‑year‑old (no reason given). He’s had a provisional licence six months, no convictions, and drives a standard 1.2 Peugeot 108 that stays on our estate overnight — used for college runs and the odd commute. The website and quotes were straightforward, so some bits work, but the unexplained refusal made the whole thing feel pointless.
