By the time I’d made my third “just checking” call, I knew the routine better than their hold music. Our clinic waste collection was meant to happen every two months, but it seemed to appear only after we chased it. Then there were awkward access-time mix-ups and, more than once, the wrong coloured sharps bin turned up. Cancelling wasn’t straightforward either; I was told I’d missed a deadline and had to wait another month. The staff I reached were polite enough, but getting through took ages. I’d look elsewhere if reliability matters.
Invoices for collections that never happened
I only needed a straightforward waste collection service for a small commercial site, especially after a previous provider had been unreliable. What has been most frustrating here is not even the missed collections, although those were bad enough; it is being charged as though everything happened normally.
Three months of chasing a simple collection
By the time we’d bought our own sharps bins just to keep the studio compliant, it was pretty clear this wasn’t going to be sorted quickly. We run a busy tattoo studio, so waste collection isn’t something we can just leave hanging about. We’d asked for replacement bins and for the old ones to be removed, but nearly three months went by with very little useful communication and no actual resolution.
Chasing a refund for months
they confirmed in writing that the unused month would be refunded. Since then, it’s been one person passing us to another, vague replies, and no actual payment. The amount isn’t even the main issue now; it’s the complete lack of follow-through. Ordering was fine back then, but the way they handle cancellations has been really poor. We’ve reported it to Trading Standards and are looking at further action. Honestly, I’d choose another provider.
Costs crept up and leaving felt difficult
I only signed up because we needed a straightforward waste service after moving offices, and I’d had enough of unreliable suppliers. The delivery side was fine at first, but the contract was a nasty surprise. I wasn’t made aware that it would roll over with three months’ notice, so cancelling felt far harder than it should. Customer service repeated the terms rather than properly helping. Year one was £50, then the next bill came in at £110 with little warning. That jump, plus the lack of clarity, left me feeling stuck. It’s not an experience I’d choose again.
