I won’t order from them again, though I did eventually claw some money back and learnt to be more wary. I’d ordered a costume in September — not some spur-of-the-moment thing, it was for a work Halloween do and I left myself a decent buffer. Cut to a couple of weeks later when an email turned up saying “sorry, high demand” and offering a refund or waiting. I chose to wait, partly hopeful, partly lazy, partly optimistic. Mid-story: two months of radio silence and I poked them, only to be told it was actually supply problems and wouldn’t arrive until the end of the year. If I’d known then I’d have asked for a refund straight away, but they’d let me stew in vague reasons instead. That annoyed me, naturally. Eventually I asked for a refund and they only returned a fraction of what I paid — not great. On the plus side, the back-and-forth pushed me to sort out a cheap backup outfit from a charity shop and I actually had a laugh wearing it. So, a small silver lining, a bruised wallet, and a lesson: don’t trust optimistic delivery claims without solid comms. Tone-wise I started off full of scepticism and stayed that way, but I'm a bit calmer now since they did cough up some cash. Won’t be repeating this, but won’t let it ruin my fondness for themed nights either.
Not what I expected, but it worked out in the end
24–48 hours to cancel, but no obvious way to cancel apart from that same email address they apparently don’t monitor. I emailed within the window twice and by the time they responded it was “too late” — classic timing problem or poor process, not sure which. That part really annoyed me and I nearly disputed the charge with my bank.
Anyway, once the whole “are they a scam?” panic passed I resigned myself to seeing what arrived. The costume itself surprised me. The fabric is midweight — not flimsy, not costume-shop heavy either — and the lining is there where it matters, around the seams and the shoulders, so it sits on you reasonably well. The stitching is mostly tidy, though you can find a loose thread if you look; the zipper is decent and doesn’t catch, which I appreciated. It wasn’t bespoke despite their claim that everything’s made in-house; the sizing felt like someone had rounded to the nearest standard size rather than actually tailoring to my measurements. That said, it was wearable straight away with just a couple of small tweaks at the hem and a minor taking-in at the waist.
Wearing it to a meet-up, it felt comfortable for several hours — breathable enough, and the costume’s structure kept its shape without collapsing into itself. I got a handful of compliments, and people assumed I’d paid a lot more. If you’re picky about absolute authenticity or perfect fit, you’ll want to budget in alterations. If you just want something that looks good in photos and won’t fall apart during a day out, it’s fine.
I’ve ordered cosplays from other sellers before — some respond within hours and offer clear cancellation and tracking — so I was comparing constantly, and this company falls short on the customer-facing stuff. But the product itself, once it showed up, wasn’t the disaster I feared. Delivery was slow and tracking was messy (package sat in the US for weeks), so be prepared for that if you order. Price felt middling: not the cheapest, not premium either. All in all I started off sceptical and fairly annoyed, but ended up satisfied enough to wear it to another event. If they fixed their communication and cancellation process this would be a much cleaner experience. Finally the moment I relaxed
the chat box felt robotic, replies were slow and sometimes didn’t answer my actual questions. I kept checking my bank just to be sure the payment had gone through, and for a while there was that nagging doubt — was I being left in limbo or worse, scammed? Anyway, that’s the wobbly bit I’ll be honest about. The turning point, though, was the day the parcel arrived. I opened it in the kitchen, a bit half-expecting disappointment, and then I actually laughed out loud because the outfit looked exactly like the photos on the site. The fabric felt decent, the stitching was fine, and the sizing wasn’t a disaster (I did have to tweak a couple of straps, but nothing dramatic). That was the moment I knew I was actually satisfied — when I tried it on, adjusted a strap here and there, and thought, okay, this will do brilliantly for the event. I tipped my mate who first showed me the photo, because it felt right to pass the find along, and a few other friends have asked for the link since. It isn’t perfect: customer service could be a lot better — the automated responses were irritating and I had to be quite persistent to get a proper reply — and their timeline estimates weren’t spot on. But the product delivered, and it worked for what I needed. Price-wise it felt fair for the quality, and delivery, while slower than the placeholder messages suggested, still got there before the event (just about). So, would I recommend? Yes, with a small caveat: be prepared to chase them if you need confirmation, and give yourself an extra week or two just in case. For my purposes it turned out well — that satisfying moment of actually trying it on and knowing it would do the job made the earlier frustration fade. I’m pleased overall and would use them again, but I’ll be quicker to double-check communications next time.
