After a few disappointing subscription sites in the past, I mainly wanted somewhere that didn’t make ordering magazines a faff. Value Mags has been really easy to use, and when I had a question about a renewal, an actual person got back to me rather than a vague automated reply. Delivery has been reliable too. It’s not flashy, but honestly that’s part of why I trust it. I’ve recommended it to my sister already.
Delayed, but it turned up
By the time I rang about the delayed parcel, I’d already spotted this shop in a local Facebook group after a neighbour mentioned it. The delivery was later than expected, which I could have lived with if someone had simply explained it. Instead, the person on the phone sounded fed up and cut the call off twice. Eventually another adviser sorted the tracking details. Not perfect, then, but the order did arrive intact and was usable. The price was fair enough, though I wouldn’t rush back.
