The doors feel solid and look spot on in place. Bit of a comedy moment finding one missing, though, and three months is a wait. Still, I’m glad we ordered from them; I’d use them again.
Worth waiting for
We started looking for a less usual door size in spring, and A Wood Idea were one of the few who could help. It did take a little longer than expected, but they kept us updated. The door fits brilliantly and feels properly made.
Good value, minor wait on the phone
I’d use them again, mainly because the door price was hard to beat and delivery arrived sooner than expected. I did wait a little to get through by phone, but the advice was useful. Free delivery tipped it for me.
Better than expected
Didn’t think fitting three sets would go this smoothly, honestly. We use the doubles between the lounge and kitchen, and they feel solid without being clunky. Needed a bit of frame tweaking, but nothing dramatic. The clean, scratch-free finish was a nice surprise.
Handles hiccup, lovely doors
We started fitting the doors last weekend, and honestly they changed the whole room straight away. The handles went missing in delivery, bit of a faff, but Wood Idea sorted an alternative quickly. Funny thing is, we prefer these ones. Very relieved it all worked out.
Sorted it out better than I expected
I needed four glazed internal doors for a bit of ongoing house work, and I’ll admit I was a little doubtful when I found out they weren’t actually in stock after ordering. Still, Mark got in touch the following Saturday, which was reassuring, and explained the options without making it a hassle. We agreed to keep the order on back order, then arranged delivery once the doors arrived. The chosen date was honoured, and the driver was genuinely helpful too. The doors look right in the space and feel decent for what they cost; not luxury, obviously, but absolutely fine for everyday use. Only thing worth mentioning is the packaging. It seemed fairly thin, so I’d want them handled carefully in transit. In the end, a hiccup that was dealt with properly.
