Nearly missed it, but saved by good people

Funny thing — I only ordered a bouquet for my mother-in-law on the Thursday before Mother’s Day because a mate at work kept banging on about Happy Days Factory; I’d first seen them on Instagram and thought the photos looked decent, so I took a chance. Delivery was due yesterday and then Royal Mail emailed saying the address was “inaccessible” and they'd try the next working day, which would’ve been after Mother’s Day. I got a bit panicked, tried calling Royal Mail and, surprise, helpline closed at the weekend. So I emailed Happy Days Factory and they were brilliant — quick replies, actually phoned Royal Mail for me and organised a re-delivery. My mother-in-law loved the flowers and they did smell fresh for days. What stuck with me was their proper customer service — calm, efficient, kept me posted — a bit of relief and gratitude there. Would use them again, especially if you don’t fancy chasing Royal Mail yourself.

Arrived like a gift, lasted like leftovers

within a day the petals started to droop and by day two most were mushy and had to be binned. I complained, they said my claim was 'after three days' and shut it down — nowhere on the site mentioned that. I answered, got ghosted. Good delivery, poor product and worse service.

    Half-delivered, half a let-down

no personalised note, no balloons, no chocolates. Bit annoying, really, because that was the whole point. Ordering took longer than I expected too, which messed with the timing. Customer service were polite and promised to send the missing bits or refund. They offered to post things out quickly, which was a nice gesture, but by then my plan was already ruined so I asked for a refund. I’ve had better luck with other florists who get the extras right. I’ll wait and see if the refund arrives. Small surprise: the flowers themselves were good. I’ll update if they sort it.

    Good intention, poor execution

bits missing (the gypsophila and some dried purple sprigs), and it was definitely not the large version I paid for. On the plus side my friend did like the flowers she got — they looked fresh and bright — so the thought counted, and that matters. Still, it’s annoying to pay more and be given less, and the messaging from the company made it worse. I rang plenty of times to complain and only got an answer machine or a "number unavailable" tone. I’d tell others: double-check recent photos in reviews, maybe call before ordering if you can, and if you do decide to go ahead, don’t rely on the 'large' option to be large. Disappointing but not the end of the world; just be warned.
