a reliable model kit, and it made evenings at home more fun than I'd thought. I bought the MA-61895 RB-30-L6-3.0L for my grandson (11) to tinker with after school — we use it for weekend bonding, bits on the kitchen table. Delivery was fast, packaging neat and staged parts clearly labelled, which was a pleasant surprise. We did hit a small snag downloading the manual but customer support sorted it quickly and politely. Assembly notes are straightforward, fits together well, and my grandson loved starting it.
Little flashes of Knight Rider
the trailer axles were too short for four wheels, and the pack-up of tyres/wheels didn’t match what I needed (I got four tyres and eight wheels — not very helpful). Stickers were missing from the first delivery, though customer support were responsive and are sorting it out now. All in, I was sceptical at first but ended up pleased — it’s fiddly, yes, and required a small parts raid from my own stash, but the build rewards patience and it looks ace where I’ve put it in the living room.
Unexpectedly good buy
bags weren’t numbered and pieces for the same step were scattered across several bags, so I ended up emptying everything into a tray and hunting for parts, which slowed me down. A few pins felt a bit loose but a dab of superglue sorted that. Compared with other sellers I’ve tried (some were worse, some neater), this was overall pleasant — not flawless, but good value and fun to put together. I’m actually quite glad I took the risk; it felt more satisfying than I expected. If you don’t mind a bit of sorting and a quick fix here and there, it’s worth it. I’ll buy another set, just hope they start numbering bags next time.
