Nearly didn’t order, glad I did

the packaging looked thoughtful, none of that scruffy, shoved‑in stuff. The panettone smelled warm and yeasty when we opened it, very fresh, and the chocolate box felt like something you could give without awkwardness. Tasting it was nicer than I’d feared — light, not overly sweet, and the chocolates were varied enough that everyone found a favourite. Small things, like a little smudge on one wrapper, didn’t matter; the overall feel was premium and it made the evening. I’m genuinely pleased I bought it, even with my nerves beforehand. If I’m picky, I’d say the price is a touch high but you do get decent quality, so it balances out. All in all it met my hopes and I left the event feeling quite glad I’d bothered — and a bit relieved I didn’t let the earlier niggles put me off. Would order again, probably, especially for gifts when I want something that looks a bit special.

A tasty surprise, despite the hassle

when I opened the box there were fewer bars than expected. I took a picture straight away and messaged them on the 17th to say one or two were missing. By then I’d already ditched the empty box (who keeps dozens of bits of cardboard in December?) so I couldn’t meet their follow‑up demands for the original packaging.
They eventually came back with the usual checklist – photos of the outer box, internal packaging, shipping label, the works – which felt a bit much. I’m not accusing anyone of anything, but the parcel did look flimsy and partly undone, so it seems likely something went missing in transit rather than some dramatic theft. Still, that didn’t ruin the product itself.
The moment I knew I was genuinely pleased was when my wife tried the bar: smooth, not cloying, decent cocoa flavour even though it’s sugar‑free. It broke just right, melted cleanly on the tongue and you could tell it wasn’t the cheap sort. That lifted the whole mood and made the earlier faff worth putting up with, somewhat.
So, verdict: the chocolate is definitely very good and we’ll buy again for that reason. Just be warned — the packaging and customer service could do with attention. If you want brilliant chocolate and don’t mind a bit of a customer‑service dance if something goes wrong, it’s worth it.

Nearly didn’t make it to the party, but the chocolate saved it

smooth, melts on your tongue rather than crumbling, not too sweet. My sister was opening them as I was explaining the ordering nonsense, and she barely let me finish before tucking in. The hazelnut one had a crunch that felt natural, and the ganache was silky, not greasy. Packaging felt premium without being fussy; practical, tidy.
So yeah, the customer service route was bumpy — slow responses, a fair bit of back-and-forth — but the end result delivered. If I’m honest, I was sceptical the whole time, expecting more hassle, but getting decent communication later and a good-quality product made me feel better. Would I order again? Maybe, but I’d double-check everything during checkout and keep screenshots handy, just in case.
