As music promoters during the late 80s and early 90s Indie scene, they were heavily influenced by bands such as "The Stone Roses" and "Oasis." In 1993, they launched Planet Clothing. Based in Bedford, Planet had strong links to popular music culture with weekly events. Their very first retro dealings were with Adidas, stocking some original vintage pairs, such as Jeans and Cords Trainers. In the decade that followed, they established four stores despite the challenges faced by dying high street retail and booming online trade. In 2006, 80s Casual Classics set up an eBay store and began selling online, and their name was rebranded as 80s Casual Classic. Committed to selling vintage styles from Sergio Tacchini and Fila Vintage, they soon became a key part of the movie "The Business." Their office is located at Triumph Way, Kempston, Bedford, England.
