I actually liked the feel at first. The jacket is snug in the shoulders and the lining feels cosy, the zips glide and it sits nicely over a mid-layer. I wore it once on a damp morning, nothing heavy, just light drizzle, and came away thinking it's a decent technical piece. Then I noticed small dents in the outer fabric — odd marks that I wouldn't expect on something rated 10,000 mm. It looked fine when I bought it from an authorised shop, so that was a surprise. I sent photos and a note to the maker over a week ago and heard nothing back. The shop says they need the manufacturer's say-so, so I'm a bit stuck. It's not rubbish — it works and is comfortable — but the lack of reply and that unexpected wear are annoying. Hoping they sort it, but for now it's a bit of a mixed bag.
