My dad being an outdoor man even till old age, although I haven't physically met him in the past years due to distance, but through phones and video calls, I knew that some of his outdoor apparel and accessories are worn out and needed replacement. Knowing too well he fondly calls himself "original man" which means he would accept anything but original quality products. The hunt for original was launched and I eventually happened to discover Avenue85 as a good place to rely on for different types of outdoor and sportswear including footwear and so on. So I did selection and ordered online to be delivered to my dad and he has been so liking the items. That to me is enough to keep Avenue85 for more of their products in the future.

Cheap prices, slow delivery
The prices were great and I was really pleased with my purchase. However, it's a bit frustrating that it took a whole 7 working days for my stuff to arrive after I placed my order! I had expected the Royal Mail 48hr service to get it to me quicker, but unfortunately not. If you're in a rush for your items, just be aware that they might not be dispatched immediately.
Broken item
The delivery was really quick, but when I opened up my package, the item inside was all smashed up. It looked like it had been damaged before they even posted it to me! Thankfully, they refunded me straight away.

Tee shirts with a free badge
I am really disappointed with the recent service I received from Avenue85. I have shopped with them before and everything was fine, but this time was a total let down. I bought some tee shirts and was told I would get a free badge as my order was over £50. However, when my parcel arrived, both the tee shirt and badge were missing. I got in touch with Avenue85 right away on a Saturday to let them know. They only replied on Monday, asking for photos of my invoice. I sent them four photos, showing the size of the package which clearly couldn't have held my full order, and also pictures of the items I did receive.
Even after giving them all this proof, they said they didn't have any more of the tee shirt in stock and only refunded me for that one item. They didn't even mention the missing badge, and it felt like they thought this small solution would be enough. This kind of customer service is shocking and not acceptable at all. I definitely won't be going back to Avenue85 after this terrible experience.New shoes
