Mostly useful, a few niggles 20 February 2026

it does the job and I’m reasonably pleased, but the company could be more proactive. I bought the reusable notebook because I’d just moved and was fed up lugging bulky sketchbooks around (plus my dodgy back doesn’t enjoy deadweight), so I needed something light and reusable. I was sceptical at first — had a couple of poor 'eco' buys before — but the DoBook feels solid, looks smart and the companion app actually adds something over a plain phone scanner. The dividers are genuinely handy; I use them to separate work notes from receipts which makes life simpler. Downsides: the cotton cleaning pad arrived a bit grubby (felt like a returned item) and that annoyed me, and the tiny sticky notes are almost pointless — too small for anything useful. The product range hasn’t moved on much, so a receipts section, more pen colours or a back pocket would help. Delivery was quick enough, though charging for postage felt a bit stingy. Overall, cautious approval — useful, with small annoyances.
