the rep sounded cold and only offered a refund plus 30% off a next order, which felt odd. Weirdly, when the parcel did arrive it was fine, so I’m relieved. Still, the silence and the tone left a sour taste, and I’d be cautious next time, honestly.
Prime Day let-down
Don't expect the Prime Day price to mean you'll actually get it on time — I cancelled. I first saw the bargain on Amazon Prime Day and even told a mate about it, hopeful it would arrive before term started. The listing initially said shipping was immediate, but after a week the status still just read 'order received'. I spent ages chasing both Amazon and Bentgo; Amazon were fairly helpful but no real answer, Bentgo said it might not ship until the end of August. That would have been weeks after my son starts school, so useless to me. What annoyed me most was later seeing that if you paid full price you could get same-day delivery. Felt like sale orders were downgraded to force renewals at full price. Small hope this was a one-off, but I won't risk it again for twelve quid saved.
