Very selected items of fashions Blue Tomato is selling . I had very few experiences with this shop. One Patagonia Jacket and Van shoes received after 3 days of booking recently. Delivery was not on time but we're good as specified . Color and apparel of Patagonia is really up to the mark but van shoes was not as per my expectations. But when I see what I paid for, this is better of course not good. Delivery is also free above 40 pounds which is very much simple as most of the great products are more then minimum requirements for free delivery.
Ordered some boots which arrived in a reasonable timeframe. The problem started when I found out that the boots are 1/2 too small and I wanted to return them. I filled out all return documents, clearly added the necessary customs documentation and Blue Tomato didnt accept the package. They kept moving me from one support person to another for a few weeks bein unclear what the issue was. Then the package finally arrived back at my place in California. They continue blaming me for something, even it is not clear what. Never again.
VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE WILL NEVER USE AGAIN. If buying from UK and want to return goods Id say avoid using them! 6 months after buying a coat and trying several times to send it back for a refund Ive had no luck and am left with a £200 plus coat that I don't want. Their customer services have been useless and rude. They will reply with something like 'we are all learning since Brexit transition" but then they will not actually help me or advise me in any way to get the product back to them and get my refund. I was advised to write "recent return item on the product" again useless and customs sent it back. Severly lacking actual proper technical advise or support. Rude customer advisers. Patronising responses after bad reviews and I will be posting many! Avoid is my advice go with a brand that care and look after their customers.
I accidentally ordered a kids size tshirt instead of adult size since their webpage is so cluttered. When wanting to return the order, they inform me that you need to pay for shipping yourself.
So remember that you first need to pay for shipping to your home, and if its faulty you need to pay for shipping back.
Customer support will give you no support, while talking to them they gladly pointed out that it was my own fault and i'll have to pay for shipping materials, shipping costs, and i also needed to contact customs to include the customs invoce otherwise they would not accept my return. The cost of the tshirt was 29.85€ and to ship it back was going to be 13€ added ontop of that.
When talking to customer service, they basically will give you no help. Saying straight out "its your fault, your problem" no understanding at all. If the support doesn't like what you are writing they just respond with an emoji, not caring at all, so do not expect any help instead expect them to ignore you and make fun of you.
I would not recommend anyone shopping from them ever. I can pretty much tell you that it was the worst customer service experience i have ever received.
Stay away from this site, either the item you order isn’t in stock or will get “lost in transit” and you LOSE the customs charges that they do not seem to care about and it’s their fault. Very unhappy with this
I ordered a long sleeve T and a Thrasher sweatshirt. Turned up late but followed by an email offering me a 10EUR voucher for the delay. Then the problem started. The sweatshirt had a peculiar hole on the front. It was about an inch long but had all the connecting threads intact, (hard to describe in words). I took photos and sent an email asking how to proceed with a return. The reply was shocking. ' From the photo we can not say that the damage was there when the sweater came to you, it could be that the damage happened while you wore the hoodie. We can offer you a 20,00 EUR voucher for your next purchase with us with no minimum order value or expiration date. PLease let us know if that would be ok for you.' I said I wasn't interested in a voucher, just a replacement. Then they started asking for tags etc. to initiate the return. I no longer had the tags. Why this would matter is beyond me as the item isn't saleable. Now they're asking me to pay return postage and they will see what Thrasher can do. Customer service is bad at best.
I placed my order on 7th January and have still not seen the product as it has still not been delivered. DPD claim that it being returned to Europe. Blue Tomato refuse to issue a refund until the product is back with them.
Well where do I start.. I'd like to give a review on the product I paid for over 3 weeks ago but I can't because it still hasn't turnt up yet!!!. Blue tomato have been useless at replying to my emails to tell me what is going on!! Have not had a reply from them now for a week and have sent a fair few emails.. The order number they gave me 2 weeks ago to check didn't work. I'd never use this business again!! Saved up for this top and I've not seen it or any refund for my troubles. Has to be the worst customer service I have ever come across. If you want to see your paid for items I suggest you look elsewhere because these lot couldn't care less!!! Do not use!!!
