I came across Bookshop.org after a mate shared a link — wasn't expecting much, but it’s become my go-to. What I like most is being able to nominate a nearby independent bookshop so my purchase actually helps them; that little choice feels proper. Orders arrive promptly, tracking is reliable, and once I even got a tiny handwritten note from the shop (which surprised me). Communication about delays is clear too. It's simple to use. I haven't bothered buying elsewhere recently, and probably won't.
