Nearly gave up, glad I stuck with it

I decided the same day I wanted to swap or return them, well within the 30 days, but their chat won’t process returns and the phone just didn’t pick up. I was told the back office would email instructions; nothing came at first, then someone rang with offers to keep the glasses, which was a bit daft because I’d already asked for a return. I’ve had worse from other companies that never reply, so I wasn’t entirely surprised, but it was frustrating and a waste of time. Eventually the back office did email after three days, I posted the glasses back and they refunded me two days after receipt. So it all worked out in the end — decent product and a fair refund, but the customer service could be much smoother.

Too much faff for a cheap pair of specs

looks = yes, fit = maybe.
I had nagging doubts before ordering — quality, returns, delivery time — and most of those doubts stuck around right through. The glasses themselves aren’t terrible for the money, honestly; they feel like what you’d expect for a budget brand. But then the return saga began. I needed a replacement because the prescription hadn’t uploaded properly (site kept dropping my saved details — annoying). Returns are only via chat, and only one free-ish replacement within 30 days, except no, you actually pay postage. Who still makes you pay to return faulty goods? That felt daft.
Talking to customer service was a test in patience. Chat was often empty, and ringing the number just sends you to voicemail and an email loop. I did send my prescription, showed the saved copy from their site, but somehow it didn’t land properly. They offered a 50% discount as a “solution” — which felt like a shrug rather than help. Then I had to post the frames back at my own cost, wait for them to be processed, wait for the manufacturer overseas to sort the replacement, and wait again for it to arrive. That wait made me question whether any saving was worth it.
Emotionally? Mildly irritated and a bit let down, but not furious. If you want unusual, large frames on a tight budget and don’t mind the administrative headache and slow delivery, go for it. If you value straightforward returns and decent customer support, maybe give this one a miss.
