Halfway through the third application I realised I’d been chasing a shade that didn’t behave. It goes on creamy and easy — the pump and brush make it straightforward to work into my beard each morning — but the colour development was unpredictable. After a few tweaks over months I’d finally got a decent match for my blond beard, though greys still peeked through. I asked to go one shade darker to help coverage and it came out nearly black. Ended up trimming most of it off before work to avoid awkward looks. Usable product, but the extras like shampoo and wipes felt like padding the price.
Half great, half fiddly
either sell smaller single-use portions or include a small syringe so you can measure without waste. A decent product that works, but awkward packaging and oxidation reduce its appeal. I’d buy again, but only if packaging changes. Slightly frustrating, but it does the job.
