the contact number on the site looked odd (extra digits? yeah, dodgy), no real phone replies, only an online call option. Anyway, the parcel didn’t turn up in two days but I waited — four days later it arrived and that’s when the headache began. Bits were missing. Proper bits. Not just a tiny bolt, but pieces that mattered for setup. I messaged support, used live chat, emailed, rang (well, tried) and got basically nothing back. After a while they did refund the two-day shipping fee — which I’ll give them for honesty on that one — but they then sent a duplicate rig a week later, also incomplete (you couldn’t make it up). I found myself repeating the same thing over and over, and that grind turned me sceptical (and a bit annoyed). I did report the flaky contact info and raised disputes, but one of those got pushed back on the claim that everything was delivered. If you’re thinking of buying: check properly, maybe ask for a photo of the box or parts before they post. If I sound grumpy, it’s because customer contact was weak, but small credit for refund and eventually getting something. Still, not the smooth, confident purchase I expected from the ad my mate shared — lessons learned.
Parcel limbo and poor excuses
I ordered a few bits for the holidays and ended up with half a mystery — one small item turned up and, with brilliant timing, broke after a couple of days; the big-ticket thing however performed a vanishing act. I emailed back and forth more than I’d like to admit, was told it was “lost” then that it had been resent, and then sat watching a tracking number scoot around Canada for ages (yes, daily updates of shuffling dots — thrilling). The kicker? Today that same tracking now “doesn’t exist” and points at some Korean carrier I’ve never heard of. It’s the tracking nonsense that sticks in my mind — you expect a straight answer, not sleight-of-hand. To be fair, their replies weren’t rude, just useless, and I’ve had quicker resolutions with far smaller companies. I don’t want to be the person who drags in my card company, but I’m running out of patience. If they sort this fast I’ll eat my hat; until then, I’m warning mates to steer clear.
Late on the birthday, good-ish on the wraps
the plain wraps felt okay — a bit more brittle than I’d hoped but the texture was comfortable, like a thin leaf. The flavoured ones, though, were a disappointment; the little flavour balls kept cracking or the wrap would split when I tried to open them. That was annoying, because when a wrap has pinholes or tears you just end up wasting whatever you’re smoking. It’s straight up frustrating — you don’t get a proper joint and you’re left with a half-burnt mess.
Not the quickest, but eventually a human showed up
frustrating, disorganised ordering and patchy communication, but at least eventually a real person picked up and promised to make it right. That’s not the same as great service, just… less rubbish than complete silence. If you’re buying something you absolutely need quickly, I’d shop elsewhere. If you can wait and are willing to chase, you might get there in the end. Oh, and avoid subscribing just because their emails nag you — I’d rather deal with proper stock info than extra marketing.
Not worth the faff
I was sat at my laptop, cup going cold, wondering why a simple order turned into a small saga. Placed the order, waited a week and heard nothing — no shipping note, no tracking, not even a “we’ve got it”. Calling them was fun in the sense that you get redirected to “please email us” every time, which felt a bit like being passed around. So I started emailing, probably too often really — about eight messages in seven days, if I’m honest. Not a peep back. I phoned again a couple of times, was promised a reply by the end of the day twice, and of course those never arrived. In the end I had to call and basically refuse to hang up until someone actually processed a refund. Once the person who cared about helping finally turned up on the line, the cancellation and refund took minutes. Strange that it was so quick when they bothered. Oddly, a week after that I woke up to a flood of replies — the same canned message to every single one of my emails — which just felt like rubbing salt in the wound. Compared to other shops I’ve used (one in particular who answered within hours and even sent a text when my parcel was delayed), this was sloppy. The surprise here was that refund speed — once someone took it seriously — and that I didn’t have to fight for the money in the end. Still, the delivery and customer service experience was poor overall; I wouldn’t risk it again.
