On a wet Tuesday I needed a new helmet after a small spill on my commute. The site said it was in stock, so I pictured a snug, lightweight lid with decent padding and ventilation — the sort you hardly notice on longer rides. I was keen; the photos looked promising. Instead I got silence. Messages about delays, then nothing. I waited weeks and asked for a refund. Still no proper response. The helmet itself might be fine, I can't say. What I can say is the ordering experience was slow and disappointing.
Long wait, but helmets do the job
I ended up waiting ages for two helmets I ordered — started using one for my daily commute and the other for weekend rides once it finally arrived. Ordering was straightforward, but the communication was dreadful. I chased them a couple of times and only got a message weeks later saying they'd changed distribution. Why wasn't that on the site or sent as an email? The parcels then sat 'in transit' for over two weeks with no tracking updates and no replies from customer service. In the end both arrived and they do the job. Still, the delivery and response times need proper sorting. Not ideal, really.
Mis-sized tunic, long wait and mixed feelings
Right, so I waited months for a pre-order and when the jacket finally turned up it was the wrong size. I tried it on out of habit — the shoulders pulled in, sleeves felt awkward and the fabric was thicker than I expected, actually quite nice to the touch but totally the wrong fit. We went back and forth with customer service, they apologised and said they'd send the correct size, then told me it was out of stock. That stung — paid in full, waited ages, only to be offered different sizes now. Bit of a mess. If you’re thinking of pre-ordering, double-check stock and keep records; it would’ve saved me time. Disappointed, but the material and details suggested it could’ve been great if it fitted.
Seen one, had to have one
one delivery was a touch slower than I hoped, but nothing dramatic. All in all, pleased and curious to see what they make next.
