Saw this on a mate’s i20N at a meet and thought, why not — ordered the Direnza turbo-back and induction kit. Fitted it over a weekend and it feels really solid, welds neat, bends smooth, not the flexy rubbish you sometimes get. Car pulls cleaner, throttle’s sharper and the note is deeper but not shouty. I work in the motor trade so I’ve tried Miltek, HKS and the like — this one holds up. Happy I went for it, cheers to Stu in Teesside for the tip.

"we'll chase it up". Asked for a refund, same story. Three months later, still nothing, just apologies and radio silence. Bit disappointed — service was the real problem here. Heads up: keep records and push for a refund.
Pleasantly surprised, with a few hiccups
I saw these on a mate's Mk2 last summer and thought, hmm... I was wary. Had read a few nasty things about filters splitting and parts going near the turbo. My mate swore by them, so I took the plunge. First order came and I did spot a dodgy seal on one filter — not ideal — but the sales team swapped it quickly after a call. That helped a lot. For a while I kept an eye on things and the new filter held up fine, even after pushing the clamps harder. A second order, springs this time, took longer than the site said, and the tracking was a bit vague, which annoyed me. Still, once it arrived the springs did the job and fitted well. Not perfect — some rubber felt softer than expected — but overall I'm happier than I thought I'd be. If you're sceptical like I was, give them a shot, just expect a small hiccup with delivery and check the seals.
Rainy Saturday discovery
packaging could have been neater and delivery was a day late, but nothing major. Overall I’m pleased, I’ll buy from them again, and I’m quietly hoping they bring an exhaust for the B9 S5 when I’m ready.
Snapped spring, awkward follow-up
I was quite surprised when a rear lowering spring snapped — they were unused, still in the box, so I wasn’t expecting that. I called Direnza to see about a replacement and that’s where things got uncomfortable. They said there’s only a 12‑month warranty and because these were a few years old I’d need to buy new; worse, they couldn’t supply a single spring or even the rear pair, only a full set at full price. That felt rigid and, to be honest, unhelpful. Delivery itself wasn't the issue — the original parts arrived as expected — but the aftercare was where it fell down. I tried ringing back to discuss goodwill or at least a partial solution; no proper conversation, no offer to help, and I didn’t get picked up. I’ve seen other brands offering longer warranties, so I can’t help thinking I’d have gone elsewhere if I’d known. It’s not a disaster — the product works fine when intact — but the combination of a broken spring and a customer service dead end leaves a sour taste. If you’re buying, check warranty terms carefully and ask whether they’ll supply individual items if one fails. A more flexible approach from them would have made all the difference.
