I was keen to replace three items costing $168 for my dog-walking kit — lead, waste bags, some bits I use daily. I was hopeful, had doubts before ordering, thought about insurance, shrugged it off. Two weeks passed, nothing, so I rang customer service and the first question was 'did you purchase insurance?' I then paid more to replace them, thinking it was a different seller, but it turned out to be the same people, same product, pricier. After two months of chasing with the helpdesk and Aus Post the originals never arrived and I'm out of pocket. Gutted, lesson learned.
Quiet at last
the initial beep is sharp but not cruel, and fitting it was fiddly, took a couple of tries. It starts with a low tone when he barks, steps up if he continues and reaches a buzzing level before pausing. It resets when he quietens. The remote is handy on walks. I was sceptical at first, but it's genuinely cut down unnecessary barking. Not flawless, but pleased.
Does the job, no fuss
this Dogline boundary has been reliably low‑maintenance for us. I spotted it at a neighbour’s place and a mate recommended it, so we installed one — glad we did. We’ve got two Rotties and a kelpie on about three acres with paddocks holding sheep and horses; the system keeps them out of the stock areas but lets them roam the rest of the farm, which is exactly what we wanted. Training was straightforward, the usual gradual steps, and we keep a spare collar for visitors so guest dogs don’t chase the stock. The surprising bit? The battery is still going after two years (spare one untouched in the cupboard) — better than the old brand we used where batteries died every couple of months. It’s not flawless, there are the occasional random beeps, but overall it’s simple to set up, reliable and it saves us from having to shut the dogs in small pens when we’re away.
