I told a friend about them after I saw them on a local events page, so I paid the balance and expected a straightforward job. Instead Alex went quiet after confirming. Day of the gig no one answered. Loads of calls from different numbers finally got a message about acts being cancelled and he'd look for replacements. None came. No proper reply about refunds either. Delivery and customer service were the worst bit, it ruined the evening.
Brighton hen hiccup sorted in the end
I didn’t expect to be calling my mates from a pub to sort a wardrobe malfunction, but here we are. Booked a drag act in Brighton months ahead for a hen do. Everything seemed fine at first — smooth booking, payment of £200, confirmations and all that. Then the replies stopped. Calls and messages ignored for days. We finally got an answer from a different number. The day before the gig they said they couldn’t provide a performer. No real apology. No help. Massive faff, honestly. After shouting (well, politely pushing) they eventually refunded the money and offered a weak apology. I’m grateful it ended without losing the cash, and the bride didn’t cry, so that’s something. Still, delivery was poor and customer service took too long to sort it. Compared to others, it was a clear step down, sadly. Would I book again? No.
