they sorted the mess and I can finally breathe again. I first spotted Recoup Agency after a colleague shared a LinkedIn post about them; a mate of mine had used them too, so I rang them up. From the first chat they were calm, professional and not at all pushy — which I needed, I was a right mess. They walked me through every step, repeated things when I got lost, and kept me updated the whole way. It wasn't rushed, and they made sure I understood decisions about that $346,000 situation (still weird to say aloud). They genuinely cared, not just ticking boxes, and I’ve already told a friend who’s in a similar spot. Honestly, really good to have them on side.
Slow refund, decent delivery
I only found out when I sat down with my mum and went through her bank statements — turns out they've been taking a small amount every month since 2021. We weren’t expecting any of it, she’s a vulnerable pensioner and had no clue. I contacted them by email and phone a few times; to be fair someone did promise refunds and they've sent back part of the money (since last November), but it’s been painfully slow and a bit muddled. Delivery of anything physical from them was fine when it arrived, no dramas there, and staff are polite enough — just not great at follow‑through. Started checking in late 2023, first impression was relief that someone answered, then frustration at the pace. Bit upsetting, but hopeful it’ll be sorted.
