The range of ethical products on this website is really impressive. I like that the company itself is rated highly ethical by Ethical Consumer. However, I've had a few occasions where things I've ordered arrived damaged because of bad packaging. The great customer service is what makes up for it - every time I've let them know about damaged items, they've quickly given me a refund without any trouble. In general, I'm impressed with their dedication to ethics but they should definitely improve their packaging to stop things getting damaged in transit.
Ethically sourced products
As someone who cares about what I buy, I really like that this shop has a good variety of products that are sourced ethically. They've got something for everyone, which makes it easier for people like me to choose more sustainable items. And the prices are fair too, especially considering how good the quality is and the fact they meet ethical standards.
Regular purchases
I absolutely love shopping at this place all the time because they're so good at fixing any problems quickly. It's amazing that I can filter my search by plastic-free options, and they stock such a wide range of products from fantastic suppliers!
Glass Christmas presents
I bought some glass gifts for Christmas from this shop, but sadly they turned up broken. Even so, I was really pleased with the amazing customer service I got. I didn't even need to get in touch with them - a new one was on its way within two days. The fast and helpful reply from Ethical Superstore really impressed me and showed me they really care about making their customers happy. Thanks for sorting everything out so quickly!
Box of 12 Lemon Cookies
I recently bought a box of Lemon Cookies online, but unfortunately, the first box I got was filled with soft biscuits. I contacted customer service and they sent me another box, but this time the cookies were broken. I emailed them a photo but got no response. When I called, I was kept on hold for ages and only offered a £5 voucher for my troubles. Some of the cookies in the second box were all powdery, so they weren't good for gifting to my mum. Because of the poor quality and bad service, I've decided to return the biscuits as it was just a waste of my time and money.
Eco-friendly products in good packaging
The variety of eco and human-friendly products is really good, and the prices on special offers are excellent. Also, all the items come in eco-friendly packaging, which is a big bonus for me. However, I do have to take away a star because of the excessive packaging and the use of unreliable couriers with bad work histories. It shouldn't be too hard to use sustainable packaging materials and choose trustworthy courier services, so I really hope you consider this feedback carefully.
Something really cool and really honest to buy from
As name suggest, I came to know that ethical stores are having a really cool motto that they sell all those products where nothing bad happened to make or produce it. nothing or no one is exploited, no harmful chemicals or animal killing or anything like that
rest they have all th e edible item,pure, safe and unharmed.
Every store should be like them
I really respect these guys along for the concept and idea.reat products but a lot are out of stock or on back order. They don’t tell you this, let you buy and pay for them, then don’t refund you.
Contact your bank to start charge back proceedings to get your money back as their support do not reply quickly (they are averaging one reply per week despite me emailing daily)
