I wouldn’t use these products again with long, thick, wavy hair. I say that up front because it’s the main point and everything else just explains how I got there. I picked Eufora after doing their online hair quiz — trying to be sensible, right — and ordered directly from them, not from some marketplace seller. I use a proper wash routine at home, warm water, conditioner, the lot, and followed the directions exactly as part of my usual weekend wash; this isn’t some half-hearted trial. Within minutes after rinsing, my hair tightened into a horrible, compact mess — like one large, matted nest, almost dreadlocky. It was not just tangled, it felt altered, damaged in a way I’d not seen before.
