By the time I opened the parcel it was already Boxing Day, so that set the scene. I ordered on 9 December as a Christmas gift and it only arrived after the day I needed it. The photos online gave a much bigger impression and the item itself felt cheap, even the bow on the plastic looked off. The package said it came from Illinois and the sender was Techlink, not the name listed on the product page, which didn’t help my confidence. I tried to contact customer service and the replies were slow and not very helpful, just the usual apologies. My daughter was quietly disappointed; I’ve had better luck with other firms. Wouldn’t order again.
Pigeon was a let-down
Strangest thing — I bought a pigeon, not because I liked it, but because my autistic son is obsessed with soft birds and I hoped something new would calm him. It popped up on Facebook so I ordered, hoping for a decent budget gift. It took five weeks to arrive, missed Christmas, and when it came the pigeon seemed really cheap — flat stuffing, odd fabric, nothing like the website pics. To be fair my son adores it and cuddles it every night, so it does the job emotionally, but I felt let down after paying about £43 and spending £11.20 to return it. Don't know if the rest are the same quality; probably unlucky, but I'll try other brands next time.
