items looked fine online but a few arrived later — they’d split the despatch without telling me. Then silence from customer services for ages; emails ignored, phone unanswered. One parcel was apparently lost by EVRi (yes, that courier), which annoyed me. I ended up chasing hard and, after a couple of weeks, they offered a refund rather than a replacement. Still not great, but at least I didn’t lose the money in the end. Would I reorder? Maybe, reluctantly.
Half pots, good cream
Strange start — I needed a richer face cream for dry, sensitive skin and swapped from my usual luxury brand, which never had packing problems. I was wary because I'd seen reports of air trapped in the jars, and yes, when I peeled the seal some pots were only half full. I spent about £300 on my last order and tried to explain it to customer services, who pretty much brushed me off and sent a free mask instead. That felt a bit insulting. The creams themselves are lovely, texture and finish are what I hoped for, so I'm relieved they work, but I still feel short-changed and cautious about ordering again.
Not great, really
In short, I wouldn't order from them again. I placed an order over ten days ago and still haven't had any dispatch confirmation, so that's the main reason. I phoned the UK number loads of times during the day and either it rang out or nobody picked up — tried different times, same thing. I also sent a couple of emails to their UK team and no reply for a week, not even a "we're looking into it", nothing. I've used other shops where at least someone answers, so maybe my expectations are unfair, but for what I paid it's poor. Bit annoyed and a bit fed up, to be honest. If anyone can help with order 4000003794 please do.
Little sceptical, quite pleased
one of the tiny bottles arrived empty. Proper annoying — I took a photo, emailed customer service and braced myself for a faff of returns. I've read those horror stories where you end up sending everything back and chasing it for weeks, so I was ready to be miffed. To my surprise they replied the next day and said they'd send a replacement within 3–5 days. I stayed doubtful (because why would life be simple), but they actually sent it and it turned up sooner than expected. The replacement itself was spot on — more generous than I'd hoped, really — and they made it easy, so I won't put any specifics here to avoid encouraging cheeky behaviour from people trying to game good service. Right, product: I'm 45, Asian skin, starting to notice dryness and some flaky bits that look dull. I used two of the small ampoules, treating one in the morning and one at night, though I admit sometimes I rationed them and kept one in the fridge for the evening. It rehydrated my skin noticeably — that rough, peeling texture smoothed out and felt repaired rather than just covered up. One tiny bottle goes a surprisingly long way if you're careful, and I tried using it with another Germaine de Capuccini product (Flash Lift) the night before I needed to wear makeup; it made applying foundation a lot less of a palaver. I'm not fond of heavy overnight masks, so this middle-ground serum thing suited me — not too much fuss, but actually effective. I started off sceptical about value for money because there are loads of options, but this felt worth it for my skin type. My only minor niggle is the bottle size — wish there was a slightly bigger option if you use it twice a day, but that's it. If you're like me and want results without resorting to invasive treatments, give it a go — just keep an eye on the packaging when it arrives and don't be afraid to contact customer service if something's off. Hope this helps someone choosing between the endless online choices — a bit of patience and common sense goes a long way.
Skincare products
I bought some skincare products not long ago and I must say, I had a really good experience with their customer service. I made a little mistake with my order but as soon as I noticed, I got in touch with them to sort it out. They picked up the phone quickly and sorted everything out for me smoothly, no fuss at all. The people I spoke to were just so lovely, friendly, and really helpful. Dealing with them was a pleasure, and I felt well looked after as a customer. Big thanks for the fantastic customer service!
Recent purchases
I've been buying stuff from this shop quite a bit lately, and every time I get the cream pots, there's always a load of air stuck inside. It's so annoying because when you open them up, they're only half full. I spent a good £300 the last time I shopped there and I mentioned this problem to the customer service team. But all they did was send me a free face mask, which I found pretty dismissive and kind of insulting, to be honest. It was just not a good response at all.
Skincare products for postpartum skin
The skincare products from this brand have been a real lifesaver for my skin since I had my baby last November. My skin was feeling exhausted and lacklustre after giving birth, but thanks to these products, it's looking much brighter now. I've been getting lots of compliments on my skin, all thanks to the amazing quality of these skincare products. Even though I've been feeling worn out from being a new mum, these products have helped me look and feel more like myself again. I highly recommend them to anyone going through a similar phase in life.
Great but costly products
Skin issue, dry or oily skin is giving 40% business opportunity worldwide.
GDC are very good .Oily skin is my long issue and reached to GDC through one reference.
I start using few serums , moisturizers and some more cosmetic products .
My counterpart also using saving creams ,and lotions from GDC , Men products are good and I found more useful then earlier. In fact I was tired by changing skin products, now I have to wait at least one month or so..I will share again.
