quick, friendly replies and the team actually shipped it the same day so it reached us for the party (during Thanksgiving, no less). I'm using it at home now for casual show‑and‑tells — relieved, grateful and honestly quite pleased. Would happily recommend them to mates.
Cautious repeat customer
I was halfway through the first design when I wondered if it was worth it — we’ve had rubbish experiences with other firms, lost branding and awkward editors, so I was sceptical. The upload/design portal at Heirloom proved pleasantly simple and has enough options (you can add custom fonts, which matters). We had a tiny problem that turned out to be on our side; customer service were responsive and unfazed, sorted it quickly. Price is fair — not the cheapest but acceptable — and we’ll be ordering again, already planning the next run.
Quietly perfect pick
I remember the second my son’s partner put the lid down and their faces softened — that's when I knew I'd picked the right present. I wanted something personal, not another mug or vase after a string of disappointing gifts, and also to tuck family videos somewhere safe since I fuss about losing old tapes. The video book hit the mark. Everyone lingered and watched, laughed, cried a bit — lovely, really. Uploading my chosen tunes was a faff at first but a quick message to support sorted it straight away, they were friendly and patient. I’ll buy more for sure, maybe one for me.

it's not cheap, but the quality shows. I tipped a couple of colleagues too, they ordered one each.
Bit of a hiccup but I'd use them again
my order went through in the end, their customer support sorted a website glitch faster than I'd expected. I saw an error when I tried to view the order, so I dropped them an email and got a helpful reply in under 48 hours with a new link and a clear explanation. They were patient and answered everything in that first message, which I appreciated. Slight annoyance it happened at all, especially compared to other places where you wait ages, but honestly they handled it well.
