I needed a smart dress for a colleague's wedding after dodgy buys, so ordered one. I knew I was satisfied as soon as I tried it on — fit spot on, fabric solid, it stood out without shouting.
Wrong return, right result
Thought I’d lost the dress for good — I’d used the wrong return QR code and only noticed a week later (I panicked). I’d needed it sorted quickly because of a work event and a previous return nightmare had me on edge. Customer service calmly tracked it down, offered to forward it to the other retailer for me and pretty much saved my deadline. Was sceptical at first, but delivery and support were solid in the end.
Quiet relief
Spotted them on Instagram and a mate suggested Jarlo, so I ordered three wedding dresses over time. The thing I really liked was how painless the returns were when one didn't fit — proper straightforward, no faff. Felt relieved after being messed about by a competitor. I'd recommend, quietly glad I found them.
Pleasantly surprised
I needed a dress last minute for my sister’s wedding and, after being let down by cheap frocks before, I was proper nervous about ordering. Worried it’d be too thin, poor fit, or just look naff in person. But honestly, that worry melted away — the material’s solid, not see-through at all, and it actually supports my dodgy lower back a bit, which was a bonus. Colours were true, fit was good (had to tweak a strap, no biggie) and I got loads of compliments. Glad I took the chance, really.
Birthday dress turned up like a crumpled tissue
"Sorry, cat sat on it." I messaged customer service, sent photos straight away, and they suggested I steam it. Steam it. On my birthday. That nails the tone: helpful, but not really. I tried steaming — which smoothed a few bits — but most of the damage was permanent, the fabric had proper crush marks, as if it had been compacted. I asked about returning it because it arrived in poor condition and then... radio silence, apart from the initial steam tip. It’s not all doom — the cut and fit were fine, and when something arrived okay in the past it was decent — but this time it missed the mark. If you care about a special-occasion item, maybe go somewhere a bit more reliable or check return policy first. I’ll update if they sort it, but for now I’d warn mates to be cautious.
Wedding dress purchase
I recently ordered a wedding dress from this store and I must say, I was really pleased with the whole experience. The quality of the dress was really good, it arrived quickly and the returns process was easy. I've had some not-so-great experiences with other websites before, but this one really impressed me with its fantastic service.
Jarlo- dress
What a fantastic experience with Jarlo’s customer service. Julia went up and beyond to ensure I would have no issues with my return after I couldn’t make the return by date. She helped to extend so that I would be a happy customer. I will definitely be buying from Jarlo as customer service is key and Julia did a wonderful job!
Two dresses, nude, silk
Absolutely brilliant. I ordered two dresses, same colour, different styles, perfect match. Beautiful garments. Had slight problems with the zips. They sent me free returns note. Put two new ones on one side and got them back to me straight away. Really excellent service. Polite, friendly and professional. Would definitely order again. Top notch. Brilliant service. Well done and thank you!
Love it
Beautiful, reasonably priced dresses. Looks exactly as it did on the website and fits true to size. Very well made and good materials, only complaint would be that it came looking a bit screwed up, but nothing that can’t be fixed with a iron/steam. Would order from here again.

I was desperate to find some good quality dresses for my bridesmaids in the same colour but different styles and then luckily I found Jarlo! I spoke to Julia for a bespoke order and she was nothing but helpful. I don’t often come across customer service like this and when you’re planning a wedding it’s a dream come true. Can’t thank her enough for everything. The bridesmaid dresses are also absolutely GORGEOUS!
OUTSTANDING IN EVERY WAY!
If customer service had a course, Julia could teach it at the highest levels. Through my process of purchasing my bridesmaid dresses, she went above and beyond my expectation and helped me with a hiccup of my own doing. I felt cared for and important to her and her company. I don't think I've ever received care of this caliber. Not to mention my dresses look amazing, the quality and craftsmanship was everything I wanted and more. Tasteful
Great company! Bought a really lovely dress for a friend's wedding here and would do again if I get the chance (!!) . I really like how elegant and tasteful the dresses are compared to some others that are on offer these days.
Delivery was straightforward, nothing to complain. The website isn't the easiest to handle and work with, but a little patience can deal with!
