Proper gym holdall 6 May 2026

On a wet Tuesday commute I was worrying about whether this bag was worth the money. I needed something tough for heavy kit — I'm a proper powerlifter and my old holdall was falling apart, straps shredded, pockets useless — so I was sceptical. Also had a dodgy delivery once before, which made me wary. Ordering was simple enough, though I did hesitate over the price. When the first parcel went missing I braced for a fight. Instead I emailed customer service and they sorted a replacement straight away, no faff. They even rerouted it to another country when I was travelling and that blew me away. Customer service actually calmed me down and kept me updated. The bag itself has grown on me fast. It's neater than my old oversized gym sack. Feels solid. Smart pockets that actually make a difference — towel and lifting shoes sit in the main bit, smaller pockets keep straps, sleeves, clamps and my phone tidy. I find myself spending less time digging about, which is nice. Not cheap, true, but it feels like it will last. So yes, my doubts faded. Glad I bought it. Worth the money in the long run. Properly recommended for anyone who trains seriously and wants less hassle.
