    Sleeve gave up after one morning

    I put the wool jumper on for a quick commute and by lunchtime the sleeve seam had split right down the side — proper seam failure, not a tiny hole or a snag. The knit felt alright when new, a bit soft and slightly pilled already, but not the sort of thing you expect to come apart after basically one wear. I wear jumpers for everyday stuff — walking the dog, buying coffee, running errands — nothing rough, so it felt like poor workmanship rather than misuse. I emailed the company saying I didn't want to send it back, I just wanted a repair, replacement or a refund as the law lets you ask for, and then I got a bizarre automatic reply about silk being delicate. Silk? It was wool. After that it was the same line about a 14‑day return period over and over, even when I explained I wasn't asking for a simple return. I sent photos, chased them, wasted time on long replies. The jumper itself is fine to the touch but unreliable; I'm disappointed and won't order from them again.

Ordered two silk shirts and some underwear from the US on 2 August (from the website) — parcel arrived from China, which they didn't mention anywhere. That in itself would be fine if they'd been upfront, but it felt a bit sneaky. The box was neat, tape intact, everything looked proper, so the funny part is either they only put one shirt in, or something happened before packing. No invoice, no packing slip, nothing to check against — just a blank feeling. I buy silk elsewhere and normally you get a little note and everything matches; here I'm left waiting, annoyed, and having to chase customer care. I emailed them; fingers crossed they'll sort it (I will update if they do). The shirts are pricey, so it's irritating to be missing one and to possibly wait another fortnight. Not a disaster yet, but poor transparency and the missing item are the main issues. I'm annoyed but still hopeful — it's the customer care response that will make or break this for me.

    Nearly gave up, then it was sorted

    I was standing by the door, parcel on the mat, thinking "right, new pillowcases, bliss" — and then noticed the box had been opened and sort-of resealed. That set the tone. I hesitated before ordering anyway, I mean I’d seen mixed reviews and I’m fussy about silk, but I’d been a customer for years and have their second-highest loyalty tier, so I thought I'd give it a go. First impressions of the fabric were fine — soft, nice colour — but four pillowcases were missing. I asked for a refund because I’d be away on holiday and didn’t want a re-shipment. That’s where it went downhill. Emails drip in, replies take ages, and they keep offering to resend when I’m repeatedly saying "no, please just refund me." At one point someone suggested I contact the police, which felt a bit over the top and, honestly, rude. I tried to be reasonable — maybe customs opened it, maybe a courier problem — but the slow, circular customer service wore me out. So the product itself? Not bad. The aftercare? Poor. It’s not all terrible — the silk performs well — but the hassle has made me think twice about coming back. Small improvements in communication would’ve kept a loyal customer, I reckon.

    some items are actually decent quality and feel nice to wear. It’s usable, not perfect. But if you’re outside the US and worried about sizing, be prepared for a potential headache — and keep receipts, take photos, that sort of thing. I’ll probably buy again but only with huge caution.

    Blouse with deep creases

    I was really disappointed when I got my blouse because it had deep creases all over it. Even though I followed the washing instructions, the fabric was still super wrinkled, so I had to get it professionally pressed before I could wear it. I think the fabric being thick didn't help, as maybe a thinner fabric would have come out better after washing.

    I bought a silk bedsheet from this company, but it turned out to be rubbish quality. After using it for only 4 to 5 months, the fabric started to look really bad and fall apart. The customer service wasn't great either - all they said was to wear socks in bed to stop it from getting worse.     Custom silk pyjama set order

    I bought a personalised silk pyjama set not long ago and, on the whole, I'm quite pleased with it. The fabric, the colour, and the style all meet my expectations. The only issue I have is with the fit. I had it custom-made because I'm bigger on top than on the bottom, but the bottoms turned out to be much too high-waisted for my liking - they're almost up to my chest!
