There was a small metallic clink one morning and I knew something was off. We bought the split‑king set in 2021 — two twin XL bases and 12in mattresses — and it’s been our daily bed ever since, we sleep on it and my wife uses the adjustable side for work. Earlier this year a metal part on her base started to fail. I ended up emailing Tim at Lucid for months, sending photos and videos, probably over twenty messages. He kept saying a bolt had fallen out and that the frame was our fault. That didn’t sit right — the part is a pinned joint with a cotter pin, not a loose bolt — and Tim could be brusque. It was annoying to repeat everything. In the end, after pushing it higher, they agreed to send the replacement section. The courier arrived quickly and the part fitted fine. So I’m relieved and a bit grateful it got sorted, even if the process felt clumsy and inconsistent compared with the brilliant service we got when another issue was fixed years ago. Ordering was straightforward, price seemed fair, delivery was prompt. Hope they tighten up support though.
Relief, then a problem
the product worked and solved the problem it was bought for, and earlier support was excellent, but this latest warranty handling has been disappointing.

fine. Ordering process: okay-ish. Service: poor and stubborn, they wouldn't accept the evidence. It's annoying because the product is useless for the purpose I bought it for. If you want an adjustable bed that actually adjusts with the mattress, I'd test the combo in person or pick a different brand that will own their mistake. I'm a bit disappointed but at least the delivery was reliable — just don't expect backing from customer service if things go wrong.
