Started thinking they'd be okay, but they turned out useless. Shoes look nothing like photos, feel painful after a few steps. Delivery was prompt, that was the only plus. Customer service was slow and unhelpful when I tried to arrange a return. Paid too much for this.
Too many warning signs
reports of shipping from China, awkward returns and a 40% off “solution” for problems. Mildly annoyed, felt more like a gamble than a proper retailer.
Tough upper, weak support
First time I put them on at 7am on a wet job, I was half expecting them to fall apart. I’d been worried about ankle and heel support and whether the steel toe would pinch, but the upper is tougher than I feared and stayed surprisingly clean after a couple of heavy weeks. That said the doubts about support were justified — there’s basically no ankle/heel cup and a few tread bits have already come away, exposing inner lining. The steel toe sits oddly and presses on the top of my foot over long shifts, and the insole is poor. Happy they look decent and get compliments, but not for ladder work or heavy demo.
