Was flicking through Instagram and a mate pointed these olive‑green straighteners out, so I ordered them despite wondering if they'd be as good as my old GHDs. At first I was pretty chuffed — colour, heat options, loved the variable temp and they did the job. Then the temp buttons started playing up; now it only reaches about 180, sometimes 190, and it just switches off if I push for more. I messaged the seller to ask if it's a known fault and if it could be fixed; they said no warranty, couldn't help. Bit annoying, but glad they worked well for a while.
Bit of a right mess
I was already imagining the first morning I’d use it — warm air, lightweight handle, quick messy-bun touch-ups — a mate had shown me theirs at the salon and I was keen. Felt properly excited. Then they took the money from my card twice, cancelled both orders and said it looked like 'suspected fraud'. My bank was baffled, there’s a five-day "investigation" and then up to ten days for any refund, so nearly £400 tied up and no dryer, no nothing. Never even got to feel it in my hands. Would’ve liked to try it, but this has been draining.
Not for shoulder-length hair
I spotted this on a hair influencer’s clip and a mate sent me the link, so I ordered on a whim. First impressions were okay — it feels solid in the hand, a bit weighty, and it heats up fast. I tried it the next morning. My hair sits just above the shoulders and the barrel simply didn’t work for me. It’s too chunky to wrap my lengths neatly, so instead of a smooth curl I got awkward kinks and a bit of frizz. I kept fiddling, tried different sections, slower wraps, everything, but it never gave the bounce I was after. The heat buttons are in an annoying spot too — you rest your hand where the controls are and before you know it the temperature changes. That bit of design makes it awkward to use. On the plus side the finish looks nice and it seems well made, and I can see it being brilliant if you have long hair that reaches past your shoulders. I returned it, packed exactly as it arrived and paid the return postage myself. Then the refund got rejected because of a “small scratch” they said was visible. I honestly don’t see how that happened from one use. Now I’m out £130 and the curler is being sent back to me. It’s a shame; had potential, but poorly suited to shorter lengths and the return process left a bitter taste. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re absolutely sure it fits your hair length.

product itself is handy and I’m glad I bought it, customer service could be smoother though, but at least there was some compromise in the end.
Half a win — good dryer, dodgy straighteners
one attachment flew off when it got hot and singed my neck. Customer service were brilliant though, sent a replacement straight away and it's been fine since. So that doubt vanished. The straighteners were a different story. They felt a bit flimsy at first and tugged on the hair. I played about with the temperature and found a setting that works. I like that. Little things went wrong after months — button covers dropped off but they still worked. Then after a year and a half the temp buttons stuck at 180. Not ideal for my clients and they pull. I like the design, but I expected better longevity. I’d say buy the dryer, be cautious with the straighteners.
Poorly made, decent performance
good on delivery, poor on aftercare, and not built as well as I expected. It’s fine for now, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who needs durability.
