I didn't expect much given past experiences with slow retailers, so I was pleasantly surprised when they actually resolved my problem. After a messy start — no reply for a day — I phoned and they arranged a return and refund the same afternoon. That was the point I knew it was all worth it; I'm glad I didn't have to fight for it like with others. Quietly relieved, really.
Running in circles
Not worth the hassle, really. I ordered a pair of shoes and the whole thing has been clumsy from the off — they emailed me a delivery confirmation when nothing had arrived, then sent a replacement that wasn't even the right model. I managed to return that parcel but they said they'd dock £22.14 for shipping, and it's now three months since the order with no refund and no replies to emails. I've had customer service issues elsewhere before, usually fixed quick, but this felt like being ignored. Bit fed up and tired of chasing them.
Early arrival, mixed feelings
last set came in a proper box with a lovely soft material, these arrive in a thin cardboard box and the upper feels a bit plasticky. I’m hopeful it won’t ruin the comfort though — that was why I ordered again in the first place, and I’m relieved they look fine on. I’d prefer EU-made goods rather than imports, but overall the brand is reliable and I’m pleased enough. So yes, delivery and service get top marks from me; quality was a slight let-down compared with before, but overall I’m happy it went smoothly.
PayPal to the rescue
Use PayPal — that's the bottom line. I bought a pair after a mate flagged them on Instagram and thought 'sound idea'. At first all good. Then nothing arrived. A month passed. I emailed. They said they were out of stock. No offer of a refund. I chased and chased, emails back and forth, proper faff. Eventually I got PayPal involved. That took weeks too, but it finally forced a refund, three months after ordering. Would I shop there again? Maybe, if I must, but only with PayPal and patience. It was irritating, but at least PayPal pulled me through.
