Seven dress fabrics mainly suitings
Outstanding quality and unbelievable prices Nervous at first to order had bad experience from another supplier but delighted to be 100% thrilled with the fabrics.
I have recommended Minerva to two friends and we are all sewing like crazy. Thank all the staff this is one happy customer who will be ordering again this week.Mixed craft items
Goods and delivery no problem. Website designer obviously poached from local lunatic asylum. Have given up trying to place my latest order and am going to ask my family to retrieve the money spent on my gift voucher. I will not be patronising Minerva Crafts with any further orders. Disgraceful
Whilst writing, my son, who is totally au fait with technology has stated that he has never come across any worse website since he got his first computer thirty years agovariety of fabrics and threads
This is a fantastic shop, but the customer service is appalling, and no, they don't seem to be trustworthy, nor do they seem to value their customers. I paid £20 for the privilege of belonging to their Craft Club, with the promise of 20% discount on "special days". Their website was unable to cope with the volume of traffic on this "Special Day" and a lot of patrons missed out on the promised 20% discount. What started over a week ago as a polite request from me to cancel this subscription and a refund as they were unable to honour the promised discount, has now turned into more unfulfilled promises of discounts and an order I wish I hadn't placed. If only the customer service was as good as the merchandise, but I cannot recommend, nor will I be purchasing again.
Cream rayon linen
Always a good choice of reasonably priced fabric but have now experienced the customer service side of the company and they are appalling. They sent 1/2 metre instead of 3 metres. I was asked to send a photo, which I did, no response. Sent a further 2 emails, no response. Called numerous times, no answer. Finally got through and they offered to send the other 2.5 metres of fabric (does anyone here actually sew!), Then said they would not refund or resend until I sent them back the half metre of fabric, which knowing their time scales, could be another month. The man on the phone repeatedly said 'I have apologised' without ever apologising.
I am so cross, I will not order from them again.Ditto, fantastic shop, appalling customer service. After asking for a cancellation and a return of the £20 fee, on account of not being able to access the promised discount, I was told they would honour a 20% for the following week for those not able to make their orders during the weekend. Based on this promise, I placed my order. Suffice to say, nearly a week later and 8 emails sent before I was granted a response, I am still waiting for that 20% discount to be applied to my order. Ditto I will not order from them again, I just wish I'd seen this review before giving them £20 for nothing but agro.
Cotton bias binding
What ever you do, do not buy cotton bias binding form these awful people. Twice I ordered, should of known better after the 1st time. 1st excuse for crumpled and packed without any care bias was that the person who was packing it was new... OK, bit of training and direction and it should be fine... So I ordered again, this time 4 people have packed my cotton bias and ALL OF IT was the same, crumpled mess, some of it beyond saving and 2 items were wrong. I waited 4 days for a response and only reply I got was that they will resend the wrong items. No acknowledgement of the utterly shocking state of bias binding, no apology what so ever! I have spent hours trying to iron out the kinks and folds, half of it is beyond saving!!!! Be warned!
