I wouldn't recommend relying on their stock info — it caused quite a bit of hassle, though I eventually got my refund. I ordered a coat for my five‑year‑old for daily school runs and muddy playgrounds; the website showed the design in stock, so I paid and waited. Two weeks later customer services emailed to say it wasn't available and asked me to pick another. That felt pointless — how are you supposed to know what's available if the site lies? I called and chased couple of times; the refund was issued after a delay. Not great, but at least it was sorted.
Gift ruined, bits bent
I bought this as a present for my mum because her back's been playing up and she needed something lighter than her old Hoover. I was hopeful — it looked neat online. The box arrived clearly trashed, taped back together. The wand was bent. Plastic clips looked stressed. I tried it for five minutes; suction seemed fine but it felt flimsy, loose where it should be solid. Contacted support. They admitted it was unacceptable and offered 10%. After I pushed they said 30%. Then they said returns were possible but postage to the EU from the UK was on me. Not worth it.
Not worth the hassle
loads of emails, order confirmation, the usual "on the way" messages — so I relaxed. First impression: all good. Then a few days later I get told it's out of stock and they send a discount code that doesn't work (very helpful, not). I asked for a refund and got dragged into a week of back-and-forth emails: some still claimed the parcel was en route, others said the refund had been processed. I'm now trying to get the money back through my bank but it's early days for a chargeback. It's annoying and a bit sad — especially since it's baby stuff — and I'm left flapping about. Small rant, slightly angry, and definitely not using them again.
Not what I needed, and they kept hassling me
I ordered this because my 100-year-old nan in her care home gets freezing at night and I wanted something simple — an electric heating pad, plug in and warm her up. What arrived was basically an electric hot-water bottle that you have to fill with water first, which is totally useless for someone who can’t do that. I told them, they offered 30% then 40% to keep it, I said no I want a full refund and I’d post it back if they paid postage. They wouldn’t budge, so I raised a Visa dispute with my bank and the bank refunded me. Relieved it was sorted that way, really, but annoyed because the company then started emailing me about payment — “final warning” and threats about bailiffs — as if I hadn’t taken the proper official route. Strange and a bit stressful. Glad I got my money back in the end though.
Finally sorted after a rough start
they sent the wrong parcel despite my clear notes, the box warns “do not apply to eyes, lips, mouth” which made me nervous given it’s marketed for kids, and I was juggling refusals at the door while trying to get a response. It wasn’t smooth, not at all. Then something changed — a real person actually replied, offered a return and a full refund, and arranged a replacement that matched the online description. The moment I knew I was satisfied was when I saw the refund land and the new kit arrived, and it was usable, with clearer labelling and sensible packaging. Now we use it for face-painting at home, quick costumes and craft afternoons; it’s not perfect but it’s fine for occasional use, and the kids love the colours. I’m grateful they fixed it, even if getting there was a pain. If you order, double-check the product info and keep screenshots of your emails — that helped me. Overall relieved more than thrilled, but happy it ended well.
